Elden Ring was my first ever souls game and i got it pretty close to launch, so you can say i am a relatively new souls player ever since then ive fallen in love with miyazaki's work and have played Bloodborne (DLC included), Demon's Souls and DS3, working on getting platinum for most of them as the next game I plan on getting is Sekiro i love your work and im glad to be another fellow player with you as my main source of lore and secrets, i cant wait to play the dlc and im just thankful for having discovered this genre of games that i absolutely adore, we are definetely in for a good time

It doesnt make sense comparing elden ring mythos to berserk. like the one who write it wasn't even miyazaki but GRRM. for sure miquella similar to griffith at first glance, but wouldn't marika and mohg similar to him in a way? like how marika abandon everything in order to create their own kingdom and sees everyone as pawn to archive it. whiile mohg didnt really archive it, he is obsesed over dinasty and pawn to greater force like miquella or formless mother, which the same trait as griffith as well. . like this charismatic and manipulative traits wasnt exclusive to griffith, there is real mythological refrence like baldur or loki. we underestimate GRRM contribution so much if we always look at miyazaki to dechiper the lore of elden ring, in which the goated himself stated that he wasnt even the one who write it and only work based on it to create scenario after the shattering onward. . like there is a lot of point that doesnt make sense if we compare miquella with griffith, which his unconditional love to his sister malenia and how he care about three finger victim and create lulaby for them in which doesnt really benefit him in whatever he try to archive.

Watching the cut scenes really makes me want to play more! It also makes me realize how subpar my parts were.

So I’m real late to the party only now just finishing Elden Ring for the first time and one thing that I notice throughout these lore videos and the game is the idea of Primordial Magic. In case you haven’t seen Dragon Prince it’s a show on Netflix where different tribes of people take their magic sources from forces of nature aka primordial magic. I wonder if the source of magic in Elden ring doesn’t just come from the Elden ring but also the idea of Primordial Magic. Ranni/Rennala take power from the Moon, Radahn takes power from the Stars, The Erdtree and Even the power of rot itself is magic the of Nature. It’s an interesting concept that I wonder if it may apply.

If no one else has mentioned... re: 1:09:00 or so, Rennala does have a stated connection to the Mountaintops, through the Painter. Near the Stargazer Ruins, on the bridge, you can find the last Painter, who drops that Great Hood. He's looking upon the full moon, and the painting says "Yes, surely this is the moon that young Rennala gazed upon."

i get this feeling when ive made it through a souls game, when all the levels are completed, all the illusory walls are discovered, and all the caves are explored, which leaves me longing, and sad. i usually will make it to the point when all thats left is to beat the boss, and i stop. i will redo levels, or whatever, trying to hold off finishing the game, but its done, the boss isnt the good part of a souls game, its the hidden areas, caves, and levels........i hate that feeling

I feel like there could be some parallels to Miquella's Abundance and Malenia's Decay when considered as a more complex continuation of Marika's order of eternal life and the Gloam-Eyed Queen's schtick with death. Kind of has me wondering if maybe in a prior age, the Gloam-Eyed Queen was something like the Malenia to Marika's Miquella, except where Miquella allegedly sought to help and cure his sister, Marika entirely rejected her opposite and banished Death from everything.

Interesting little tidbits i picked up during the wait 1. The banished knights, and their commanders, O'Neal and Niall, have mastery over storms 2. Both of them seem to follow Miquella 3. O'Neal and Niall are both Irish names 4. The Hornsent npc from the previews speaks with an Irish accent 5. The Hornsent people worship beasts/dragons, and revere those capable of creating storms

I need an explanadion on Godskin duo, are they related to the Lizard people, and how? Cuz the tail, the Snake guy statue in Apostales arena, both do the stretch body, they're relate somehow but I don't get it..

I stopped playing AC6 for months and almost as soon as I pick it back up you drop a full story video of it. Absolutely amazing.

I've watched this video 2 and a half times now and Marika seems like such a confusing character. Why would she remove the entire concept of death and have her shadow safeguard that power, only to later have her stepchild steal a part of that power from the one she told to guard it, and use it to kill her own son? Why did she shatter the Elden Ring? Was all of this really just a result of doubts she had about the Golden Order she created? Just second thoughts?

I'm surprised I haven't heard the comparison drawn between Coral and actual coral. As far as both goes, they have the some components sorta. Coral(rubicon) is made up of a substance that integrated organisms into its structure, not just a few but practically most of Rubicon's population was vaporized and integrated into a literal colony to form the Coral flow. Literal coral is much the same thing, although that involves creations through integrating polyps and other marine life. Now that I say this, it feels super obvious but maybe I missed anyone else mentioning this.
