Yeah he's a bit of a dummy too, not really doing much to educate himself before spitting lyrics. He claims "this is America homie if you don't like it you can leave"; without realizing that if you leave without revoking your citizenship, you still have to pay taxes to the US government. On top of that, if you want to revoke your US citizenship in the first place it costs THOUSANDS of dollars (last time I looked it up was in 2012, in order to revoke US citizenship it cost $4,000). So, if you want to leave you have to have money in the first place. The whole system is designed to entrap the poor and keep them feeding profits to the rich, and the fact right-leaning people don't see that is mind-boggling to me.

Having certain values and opinions isn't the same as having a two party system that divides citizens and turns us against each other. It's manipulative. It makes it so we can't have a discussion about something like border policy, without people assuming you must feel a certain way about a bunch of other political issues. And, because people feel strongly about those issues, their assumption goes hand in hand with strong feelings towards you. I don't think it's how we should handle politics, its more about pandering to try and get more people on one side than the other, than it is about making decisions that make this a better country. I'm so tired of politicians encouraging us to see each other as enemies, they do it to distract us from recognizing that they are the problem. The last thing they want is citizens getting along, and holding them accountable to higher standards.
