If you want it to look like an actual sky use the milky blue inkjet transparency film. It has the exact same nanoparticle film that the $20,000 Coelux skylight simulator has. I made one with about 95% of the look (to the point guests that visit me are convinced they are looking at the actual sky) for about $60.

Very nice! But I have an important note: Never ever clamp a light weight frame at the top tube. It's built to be light, with very thin and fragile walls. I have seen frames destroyed buy the clamping force alone, but additionally there will be huge torque when you work at the far ends of the bike, like when you reinsert the rear wheel. Clamp your bike at the seat stay: it's built for clamping and to withstand high forces.

Great build. Does the outer tube slide well also with bigger loads? Asking since many machines have ball bearings.

Update6 months and I'm still loving this bench. kzfaq.infoUgkxo_64lVTGMk7y4aXTPxPOcQ3YTLyQ6kYV I use it almost daily. I've gotten used to the small wobble and it's no problem at all. Love the storage, it folds right next to my weight set in the garage and hardly takes any space. I wish the covering material was a little bit tougher. I have a feeling that in a couple years it'll tear, but the bench is very well priced that I would just buy a new one.3 month usage review. Awesome bench for someone looking for compactness and storage. I did have to drill a couple holes to adjust my preferred seating position and leg bar position but that's only due to my personal preference. It's very sturdy for normal workouts, but for anyone going above 100# dumbbell press it wobbles ever so slightly. I would probably go with a fixed bench if that's the case. That being said i can accomplish 99% of my normal gym workout with this setup. Very happy with the purchase.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzfaq.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

Assembly by myself was not too hard. I took my time and followed the diagrams. I particularly like the pictures and names of the exercises organized by muscle groups on the front of the kzfaq.infoUgkxKJHyBZ9I1py9vVi-XLpEBg0y-qmdhn3q . Considering the number of exercises it has a relatively small footprint. I needed a machine that was not too tall because I only have 79" headroom in my cabin and this was just over 78". It is easy to use, seems to be well made, and I am pleased with my purchase. I am doing upper body muscles on Monday and Thursday. Lower body exercises are being done on Tuesday and Friday. Not using it on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a reasonably fit 66 year old man and this is a great workout.

Great work as always!! Wanted to let you know I've built a rack like yours following the instructions and measurements you provided. It's a great piece of equipment and the core of my garage gym. I'd be happy to send you some pictures of it, as you inspired me into the dyo as well. Love your videos and the first song even more, great choice there and great bench! Ciao from Italy, keep the good work coming 👏 💪 👍 🙌

I took into account that it is 2430 kg / m3. Based on that, I calculated how much diameter I needed + how heavy the frame iron was. I never dreamed that I would hit the gram. It doesn't matter if the weight is not correct. The important thing is that both are the same weight.
