That CCS captain was a fool flying directly infront of a Star Destroyer while facing braudside is a good way to get obliterated by the ISD focusing every single turbo laser into the hull of that ship.

I think this kinda undersells both the CCS and the Imperial II. While the Glassing beam is the most well known weapon of the CCS, it probably wouldn't see much use in space combat. Instead the CCS would light up it's surroundings using a mix of plasma torpedoes, turrets, beam emitters and plasma lances, scaring of any Tie and putting on more pressure on the Imperial II Same goes to the Imperial II, while it's lacking in fighter defense, it's armed to the teeth with turbo lasers, making it an absolute menace against other ships. What is done well is the CCS kiting the Imperial II since Covenant ships are really maneuverable in real space. If these were to actually fight the deciding factor would be range. The Imperial II has more firepower than the CCS, but the CCS has a much further effective range thanks to it's plasma torpedoes and it's head mounted plasma lance and more maneuverability. It would come down to the Imperial II trying to get within 2000km of the CCS while the CCS tries to stay outside of that range, using it's ling ranged arsenal and Seraphs for attacks. I give it a 6/10 that the CCS wins duo to it's range advantage which it can also effectively sustain, but should the CCS get too cocky or be ambushed by the Imperial II it would get shredded as soon as it's shields fail (though the same can be said for the Imperial II as well). Overall I would love to see both of these fight together since they can supplement each other very well for all kinds of scenarios ranging from planetary invasions to direct ship to ship combat and fighter swatting... And both of them are on the top of my list of favorite peace keepers! Edit: Though putting two CCS against a single Imperial II is just unfair since both ships are already pretty simular in power. It's essentially 1 Imperial II against two Imperial IIs with slightly weaker shields but far longer effective range

Republic. The reason the UNSC was losing the war was due to the gap in naval technology. Their ships weren’t shielded, they couldn’t make accurate jumps, and their weapons were inferior. None of those issues exist with the Republic Navy. Additionally, The Republic Troops are at least as competent as UNSC Marines (probably more so) and the Covenant military was poorly trained using their troops more like canon fodder than actual soldiers. The UNSC would often out perform the Covenant on the ground only to lose the Battle due to defeats in space. Without a clear advantage in space, the covenant would not be able to out perform the Republic.

As much as I love Halo, the only factions in it that can't handle Star Wars is in fact the Covenant and, to a lesser extent, the UNSC. Too few ships, too slow, and their weapons, while powerful, can be easily handled with the shields all star wars ships have. At least the UNSC's MACs can wipe out Star Wars ships easily, but they don't have shields and are also too slow.

I’m pretty sure when that Covenant cruiser got sent to hell, it’s unrealistic because the Covenant Cruiser shields are strong as FUCK. Not even MAC rounds can pierce through the shield.

Someone screwed up by sending a Venator in direct attack against a Covenant Cruiser. I mean, the Venators are carriers.... their fighters would be all over the Covenant. Ironically, it's one of those times where I can see them about evenly matched. (SW and ST are definitely not when it goes to a one on one fight)

Alright if that’s just straight up copying Halo 2 at the end, second of all where’s the assault carrier. I’m only see in the 3 cruisers, and while they could hold their own against the venators, still would be cool.
