Angeles City have always been an expensive area to live in especially a well ran subdivision. However, for the asking price, people are better off at buying a house in New Alabang in Muntinlupa OR in Ayala Greenfield Estates in Calamba Laguna for slightly cheaper price and better quality the subdivision.

I'd like to find a home sorta near the walking street area. Also, plan on doing my immigration paperwork there in Angeles. Thanks for the videos and information! JD

Nice home, but way over capitalised for anyone retiring in Phils. I’m assuming old mate has medical issues and needs to move for ongoing treatment not available in Angeles. No one puts in that much to build and customise their home then sells after 3 years . A good lesson for all expats that move here is that old saying “don’t invest more than you can walk away from”

Beautiful home. Absolutely stunning. With this budget and what this represents…you have a lot of options. Homes are not liquid in the Philippines, this will likely sit for some time. Take the art, art is one of those things that is so individual that it’s tough to pass on meaning or value especially if simply given as furnishings. To me, I respect they are nice pieces and that they mean something to the owner but it doesn’t do much in added value. Yes I know they are expensive…yes I know they have value…they not things I would buy though.
@anthonybyrnes599810 күн бұрын
Yes a very nice home BUT it is in Angeles City...Seen many homes in that Sub division and been up for sale for a number of years - not easy sellers once over the P20M mark........Homes I have seen are good and a few, were big ones too. They took a very long time to sell though..... Be interesting how long it takes to sell & if they get the price thieir asking for
@aboveitall960010 күн бұрын
@@anthonybyrnes5998 A lot of people treat homes in the Philippines as an investment. There really not in the way we think of them in the West. Homes, luxury homes included, can sit for years. The demand to live in the Philippines just isn’t there at this price point. Anything above 15-20 million is luxury homes…7-10 million puts you in upper middle class with Dentists and Lawyers. 1% of the population may be able to afford it…100k-200k a month in rent gets you a very nice home with the ability to walk at any time. 3 years…is my estimate for most older guys going back to the states. Unless you have a wife and kids in the Philippines…think long and hard about buying. It’s a very nice home…my guess they thought they would be there longer.

I hate to burst your bubble but a quality home to Western standards takes Western individuals to be involved in the labor. This home is not the standard in the Philippines. Things I have noticed in the Philippines…The quality of building standards is not close to the West. One example is hallow block, sub standard concrete and different mix qualities…each load can be different. Mix can be done by hand with labor using too much water as it’s easier to turn. Rebar can be mixed sizes in the same column. End of the column are left exposed for future expansion, allowing water to egress in and expand...Often cracking the bases and causing the concrete to flake. Rust obviously is an issue as well with rebar. Wire nuts are not used, they tape connections…grounding is not normally done. Laundry drains to the floor, no traps are used below sinks. No door sweeps, door frames are not standard. Unless you bring in a set rise for stairs it can completely different between steps. These are just some examples…there are many more. Cash is king, you can correct most of these with proper materials and skilled labor but don’t expect anyone to change the way they do things unless you oversea it. Best thing you can do is bring in commercial crews as the standard is often better rather than residential general labor. People don’t know what they are talking about unless they have an idea what we consider standard verse construction standard in the Philippines. This guy put a heck of a lot into this home and he had to oversee its construction.
@metsknicksfanletsgo474410 күн бұрын
@@aboveitall9600 my goodness, bro lol Listen if you have money in the Philippines, you can really build yourself a very nice house the materials they have we don’t have now of course we can get those materials and pay double and triple the cost it would take to build in the states the mahogany wood that he had on the stairs take that for example you try to put that in your home over here in the states you will definitely play double or triple to have those stairs put in your home in the Philippines way cheaper bottom line is you can build a very decent home in the Philippines that were outmatch any home here that’s even above $1 million or more that’s a Fact bro and like the homeowner said he has massages anytime he wants oops you can get that here too, but you be paying $100 an hour $200 an hour so if you trying to say it’s better in the states than the Philippines I think you’re wrong man
