What would you say is the total budget spent on this short? Out of curiosity. Also were the creation of the digital assets included in the 4-day production or where those created beforehand and is that included in the total cost of the budget of the short?

I was really impressed by your video! Could you please share information about the LED panels used in it? I run a production company in Korea and am considering setting up a small-scale LED studio. I have many concerns about which LED products to use, especially for handling real-time operations with Unreal Engine 5 and minimizing delay. It's challenging to research each Chinese manufacturer individually since they are physically distant and numerous. Although we are from different countries, I would greatly appreciate your help as a fellow professional in the industry. Thank you in advance!

I'd love to make a music video and been looking into VP as it cuts the costs down majorly. No more hours of set design... extra teams... long hours. Hoping to make my dream a reality but still, they are at least 10k :(

Glad to see the level of what you're trying to achieve. The simulator that moves the car is what is giving away the magic, since it moves too much and unrealistically, giving you a feeling that the car is infact floating and not driving. But yeah kudos to the efforts.

Why not say "one healthy person to carry on?" Oh, I get it, even without a male to fertilize a child, a female is (of course) still better than a male. Even if she is doomed to die alone, just like a male would. And why wasn't a male and a female left to live rather than two females? That guarantees the stranded colony won't produce children. The only thing good about this crappy video are the special effects. But yay for misandry, right?

It's amazing seeing tech-vis and pre-vis being used as an essential tool for productions! Can't wait to see the final piece after it's shot.

curious why there was no motion blur on the trees on the LED volume?!

Hold on! There is no frustum. Camera guy's perspective matches background's (normally it had to be done in inner frustum only) perspective changes suprisingly. Maybe this camera movement prepeared before shooting and the camera guy is just catching that virtual back's movement. Even the whole background is acting like a frustum, renderspeed/resolution is insane as i understand! ❤

the shot was done really nice, just one minor tinny mistake, when the car is flipped upside down in the final shot i've noitced the actors arms rested against the laws of gravity if that shot needed to be accurate :D

0 latency is possible on LED wall with a motion controlled camera as both the physical camera and virtual camera becomes slave to the external controller to run in sync. There is no tracking involved so no solving to be calculated. Everything is preprogrammed or based on external input. LAG may be between the controller and cameras but both the physical and virtual are at least in complete sync.
@sandeepkamal4245

Even god cannot defy physics and make a zero latency tracking. As movement needs to happen first before you can determine what was the move. The resolving takes time as trackers can’t predict. But reducing the lag to a level is possible for people to perceive it as almost no latency in most of the scenario. Which may also give away the lag is some extreme cases. So if the technician says extremely low latency or almost 0 latency , marketing will make it absolutely 0 latency 😄. Happens everywhere. Though this example of low latency is good enough news for us. Even if it’s not zero, it’s far better then whatever we are facing with the lag 👍🏽.

This is amazing technology. For those who are unaware, one of the biggest pain points of virtual production is the lag that can show up between the camera, the rendering engine and the display. Having this limitation removed is really something. I guess you’re not going to share how exactly you achieved this.
@mariusandreelgs

We have achieved extreme low lag between the camera and the LED display with a proper tracking system. This is with native engine without third-party applications.
