Used to subscribe to you last year and unsubscribed. I forgot about you completely until the algorithm just served this video up to me. Now I remember why I unsubscribed. Your attitude and personality suck nitpicking other channels over jealousy What's that viewer count in Aug 24? 800+ that sucks. That LadyK dude? He's not my favorite but he provides way more informative value and oh look, he's a staff writer now for Practical Sailor Mag. Real full-time job. I don't believe a word of your "I'm out making deliveries" nonsense stories. No one that's experienced your personality would give you their boat let alone pay for that. Obviously living off daddy's dime with just enough background knowledge to fool other mean-hearted wanna-be sailors.

Multis are literally the only choice left because I'm going to work on my boat(Coding/Marketing) so I need a stable liveaboard experience. Therefore ALL MONOS SUCK! Money is - or can be - no issues these days. If you got a dream/plan there are plenty of ways these days to make serious legit money.

Catamarans: If I were to choose a cat (and I could afford it) I’d probably go with something like a Chris White or a Gunboat. On Budget: Shuttleworth, or even a Wharram or a Shoenning Trimaran: Chris White Hammerhead, Newick traveler, Echo 36 , dragon fly 40, Monohull: older - I’d go with a schooner no more than 50-ish feet . There “fast” enough, comfortable and offer copius of deck space. Some will smoke a reach at 15 knots. They can also take a pounding as well. Modern: (if I could afford it) Santa Cruz 50, J111, Pogo 12M The key to finding a fast Monohull is really the hull shape either slender and not too “Beamy” or a semi-planing hull.

I was really surprised that you did not include some of the cheaper marinas in the keys. I will be there in December, and I am being charged, $3.50 a foot. A nice marina (Sea Bird) in Long Key. I am usually on the hook but for Christmas I thought it would be nice to be a little closer in. Good winds.

Currently going through Yachtworld looking for a boat that suits my needs. 2 couples requing 2 cabins and 2 heads as a minimum. Following your advise nearly all of the boats I had saved , I shouldn't touch. However, If you have a budget of £100k and you find a sailboat about 20 years old, maybe a little under that for sale at £75k surely if you replace the sails, standing rigging, running rigging and and had the engine overhauled. Then I would have my boat within budget. Providing the survey showed the hull was sound and there were no other major expendiature required. You thoughts please.

You had not bad info but i wish you stop say idiot as just prove that you may be one. I see you didn’t like the sea wind but they are a performance cats that will do 18 knots in 20 knots of wind and they are built out of carbon fibre with lots of room so they can perform. If you want to have to motor to get places then buy a launch. You’re right about one off boats not worth while. Lagoon have bulkhead problems and leopard have some big issues “ check out KZfaq wow. Hard tops are really expensive around 30’000 done right over 8’000 for bim. Yes if you can get a boat with hard top then they better. Do you own a boat ??.

Very useful information when it comes to buying a used sailboat that will actually fit your needs. I also like the debunking of bad advice from those influencer channels. But cmon now, you gotta stop this IKEA praise. I checked out a couple 2024 Beneteaus at a boat show and they had disgusting interiors. Everything was just cheap plastic and the plastic floors bounced with every step. These hospital boats are an insult to all of the beautiful sailboats in this world
