Great ride and commentary, you killed it! Does that trail connect with the blue sky trail from Horsetooth do you know? I'm an old guy just starting this at 74 (still feel young though) is your bike a full suspension, I could not tell when you rode by. Maybe I'll see you out on the trail one day, no falling though!

Terrific video! Thank you so much for clear explanation of right and left! The package instructions are very unclear and neither pad has a front or rear directional marking indicator. Thanks again.

Make sure if you ride 3-4 times a week and sweat a lot you need to replace helmets 6-12 months. This is also recommended for all manufacturers.

Geometry is very modern even today as I write this mid Sep/'23...almost identical geo as my Atherton130. Love the OneUp bars got'em on my A130 as well. Cut down to 760mm..do this on all my bikes from 130mm travel bike to 160mm travel. Ergonomically fits me best, I'm 5'6" (5'7" on a good day)

Could the front end floppyness be the stem length? Shorter stem on your 29er vs your 27.5. Shorter stem needs less movement angle in the bars/stem compared to longer stem. On my bike 40mm stem vs 30mm or 32mm and the shorter stem is much quicker to steer. All else being equal smaller wheels tends to be the one that "flops" more. Other thing is also geometry, slacker head angle climbing tends to wander more too leading to feeling of floppyness. And newer fork offset being shorter causes the front to wander more too compared to longer offset. The accumulation of all these things add up.

Quick question about the fork and rear suspension. When the fork is in low compression mode and the rear suspension is in climb mode are they extremely hard or do they stay really soft and bouncy? Just had both of mine serviced and they are still really soft in the lock out modes.

Awesome. More women mountain bikers. So much of the bicycle gear and clothing is still designed for men. We need more focus on women’s needs when it comes to biking.

What's the longest wheelbase bike is suitable for this trainer? Could, for example, a wheelbase of 1350mm be accomodated? Thanks

This is wonderful in that I have no interest in videos with dudes going 100 mph and everything is a blur. This video shows the landscape very nicely.

HI, I'm looking at purchasing one of these portable trainers for when I'm on the move. I have a wahoo and obviously can't travel with that. I'm uncertain of the difference between the zero drive and the Over Drive options. Can anyone explain - please and thank you!!!

Two Years ago i bought Orbea H30 Occam which came with High Roller II 2.5WT on Front and Rekon 2.4WT rear. These WT Tires are actually optimizer for 35mm RIM but my RIM is 25mm. I don't know why they put WT Tires on such a small RIM. Next year i'm gonna switch to non WT Tires but i have to go with 2.3, because Maxxis from 2.4 are almost all WT. Is it huge difference between 2.5 and 2.3?

Thank you for sharing this. Your reasons are basically my reasons. I took up MTBing a year ago. It is so exciting, and it is in my opinion better than the road biking I was doing before. Over time I started hating riding on the road. Until someone drove by and was shooting BBs at me. That was the big turning point in me just going off roads.

hello, good evening, very good video, I am interested in asking for the protections, I would like to know what size you use, in the measurement table. I would have the small size, I have the doubt if it is better to order the medium size. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽 help 🚲 saludos

hello, good afternoon, very good video, what size of knee pads did you order? In the table of measurements it is that I am for a small size. I'm a little unsure, or the ideal is to order a medium size? . I will order them online. I don't have a chance to try them. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽

Hi from NJ... Your videos are inspiring me so much. I absolutely love how you make your riding so relatable by showing how you try sections of trails over and over and over again until you make it. For a beginning mountain biker who's scared a lot of the time of rocks and roots and ruts and through steam crossings etc... You give me the courage to try and keep trying until I make it too!!!!' Thanks for the videos and your inspiration!!!

I am not a fan of a design like this, a shaft sliding in an out, and a lever to tighten by rotating. But sure is better than Topeak stand I had, there it just had a knob to turn. Which I only got cus a local shop had it, and I needed a stand fast. but that stand was awful, maybe Feedback Sports is better, I've not tried one. But I have a Park Tool PRS3.2-2, which is a shop stand, which has a a much better clamp, can adjust it to any angle, the clamp has a V shaped clamp, with a handle on top, which you can open and close it and then tighten it, it makes the job much quicker and easier.

Have you formed any opinions on how the bike feels yet? Also, did you stick with 800mm bar width or did you trim them?
