The remains of Yehoshua are still lying in a Jewish tomb somewhere in Jerusalem. He was a mortal being and the tomb containing his remains are still there. The discovery of his remains will destroy the very foundation stone of Christianity.

Mental health is hugely neglected in this country, but I think a big part of the reason for that is that there is still such a stigma attached to it. We recently had a young wife who was only 23 and had only been married about 18 months commit suicide. The family has never confirmed this, but those who know the family has confirmed that was her cause of death. There is still such a stigma attached to depression and the way it kills, that people are still scared or ashamed to say that their loved one suffered from this horrible illness. And I had a friend today tell me that her father made fun of her as she suffered from anxiety and depression. I’d love to get away for a few days, but I don’t see it happening. I have to sleep in a recliner due to my asthma and laying in a bed kills my back. It doesn’t help any that I have mobility issues, so I’m like a beached whale in bed. And I’m not about to head out someplace my husband doesn’t know the way to. I’ve always done the navigating, and I’ve lost vision, so I can’t do that anymore. Even with Siri giving him turn by turn directions, he can still get lost. And I can’t see to get us unlost. We used to go to the Outer Banks every year between Christmas and New Year’s, and after the fifth year, I figured he shouldn’t need my help. Boy, was I wrong! Our son and I are still trying to figure out all these years later, how he got us on a military base! We were supposed to go this past April, but my vision deteriorated so much that I canceled it. A friend was going to let us stay at her house. Oh well.

Garbage. The Lord knows we'd venerate His diaper. He's not going to leave any trace of anything physical behind. Likely an apartment house sits on the location of the cross and the tomb is likely covered by a road. Now let's suppose that is the spot. The size of the bed puts Jesus at about 5'2. Think about it. One last note - you do realize that the "Romans" killed him in the first place, destroyed the temple, ran out the Jews - THEN formed the Catholic church which WILL be the mouthpiece that announces the Anti-Christ and orders you to worship/obey him. Yeah I'd trust them.

The Jewish council of high priests, the chief of whom was Caiaphas, son-in-law of Annas; under the belief that Jesus intended to build a large enough following in Rome, in occupied Israel, that a caliphate or holy war, wouldn't sue, which the Jewish priests, and Kaiafas, in particular, had reason to believe would generate a response from Rome. That was devastating, indiscriminate, and maybe even approaching genocidal That's my response to your question, before the analysis portion of the video begins To be clear, the answer is not the people of Israel, it is not the Jewish people in and beyond Israel, it is that specific group of high priests, minus the lone dissenter who, at the conclusion of the crucifixion, said "truly, this man was the son of God"

You can thank Ron Wyatt for cleaning in and around the Garden Tomb to make it what it is today. The city added all of the niceties outside, and boarded the area where Ron's team found the Arc of the Covenant.

The Church is no different than the monastery in the Sinai peninsula that is suppose to be where the Jews found the Holy Mountain, WRONG!! The Holy Mountain of Sinai is in Saudi Arabia where the split rock where the water miracle is. I'm sorry for the many people who have been tricked by the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, but the burial site was the Garden Tomb which is outside the city where all burials happen. I wouldn't believe any pagan from Rome to choose the site of Jesus' burial, who also chose the Sinai Peninsula for the Mt. Sinai.

The garden tomb was founded in the 19th century. The tomb of the garden tomb is 7-8 centuries before Jesus Christ was around. Sure it was common for tombs to be reused but the Bible is clear that the tomb was new. Also the garden existed during the time of crusades and not the time of Jesus Christ. The skull rock formation was also not there due to erosion. The holy sepulchre tomb recently discovered to been around the 1st century ad.

The garden tomb is the actual location. Not convinced? Look into Ron Wyatt's dig in the garden, which was dug between Golgotha and the garden tomb which the current location of where he dug is under a wooden platform right next to the wall in between Golgotha and the garden tomb, what he found, the Israeli antiquities tries to deny that he was ever there, clearly covering up what he found, the ark of the covenant, which is in a tunnel underground, where it will remain until the time to reveal it comes, which according to Ron Wyatt, is when the mark of the beast becomes law.

@@stevenmanriquez8030 The only way they date the tombs is by the style of the tomb, which the style was used 7-8 centuries before christ but who's to say it wasn't built in Jesus time, this is a more luxury tomb in comparison. Would god choose to be buried in a tiny hole in the wall or an actual tomb that was large enough to have mulitple visitors and to warrant a stone in front of it as the story depicts. Anyway you will believe w/e you want. However, that doesn't mean the tomb is 7-8 centuries before christ. 1.This is a special tomb for Jesus burial. 2. Its in a garden 3. Next to a winepress. 4. Next to the skull hill known as golgotha There is only 1 location that still to this day fits that definition. its the garden tomb. God preserved the location. and ron wyatt excavated it and found the ark of the covenant. Which is still in the tunnel he found it in, until a specific moment for it to be revealed. However, that doesn't mean that this tomb, wasn't built in Jesus time, with the same style as older tombs. When compared to the holy sepulchre, the story of mary going into the tomb to see jesus and another person being in the tomb makes zero sense as its simply not large enough. But the garden tomb is. Where is the wine press for the holy seplechure? There is a winepress right next to the garden tomb. I highly suggest you watch ron wyatts discoveries and not be so gullible to believe false dating methods, esp from ppl who believe the earth is billions of years old.

@@DerickMcAfee The tomb is part of an 8th-century BC grave complex, while the Gospels describe Jesus' tomb as being new and cut out of rock in the 1st century. The garden tomb is in the style of a 1st temple tomb while it contradicts the style of the 2nd temple tombs. Just because it fits the definition doesn’t mean it was always there. The garden didn’t exist until the crusade era. church tradition says that early believers met at the holy sepulchre location as early as the mid first century to pray and worship. The Romans destroyed Jerusalem at the end of the 1st century. There is evidence that in early 2nd century the Romans built a pagan temple at this location, dedicated to Greek gods. This fact is fascinating and important to consider. Because when the Romans would conquer a city or region, they would build temples at locally significant spiritual or religious locations. They did it to stamp out local religious traditions with the intent of assimilating the population to Roman culture. However, there is no record of a significant historical Jewish site of worship at this spot. Something of local and spiritual significance must have happened here that caused the Romans to build a pagan temple.
@DerickMcAfee
@DerickMcAfee 14 күн бұрын
@@stevenmanriquez8030 No. The tomb is not "part of" the grave complex which is on the opposite side of the wall. If it was part of the complex it would be connected and be a chamber of that complex. It's not. indicating being built at separate times. There is no indication this was built at the same time. Just because there are tombs built in the 1st temple period and tombs that were common in the 2nd temple period, does not mean a 1st temple tomb wasn't built in the 2nd temple period, esp when we are considering the fact that the 1st temple period tombs are more spacious and considered of much higher quality. You are assuming the tomb that is the style of a 1st temple period tomb is for sure a 1st temple period tomb. If i made a tomb today the style of the 1st temple period, who is to say 1000 years from now it wasn't from the 1st temple period? In reality, the tomb is not part of the 1st temple complex which is on the opposite side of the wall, but is a specific tomb, in a garden, next to a winepress, next to a hill called golgotha. There is only 1 location that fits that definition today. God preserves his word. With a story attributed to it such as ron wyatt, with the ark of the covenent being found in a tunnel under the garden tomb area, there is no doubt that the garden tomb is the location. Esp if you consider the idea that the blood of christ during the earthquake when he died, dripped down the cross through the cracks, into the tunnel below, onto the ark of the covenant, which is where the blood of sacrifices was to be placed. Christ being the ultimate sacrifice, this story takes faith, but in reality, the temple institute today says they know where the ark is, its in a tunnel where it was found and will remain until a set moment, the same story as ron wyatts interesting... If you go to the church of the holy sepulchre you will see nothing but idol worship, go to the garden tomb, nothing but peace.

@@DerickMcAfee The Garden tomb association even states that Ron Wyatt found nothing. He wasn’t even an archaeologist and didn’t have an archaeologist in his team. The pictures were clearly staged. If you believe him, then you believe him but it doesn’t prove his claims were data. Why would they cut out a 1st temple period tomb in the time of Jesus Christ. Nothing helps you with that. The tomb was new and not reused. Tombs around it weren’t of that period as well. Holy sepulchre matches it better because the tomb itself and tombs around the area date back to 1st century. No evidence that garden in the garden tomb wasn’t from the crusade period. And show me proof skull hill form was around the time of Christ. It probably wasn’t there

The core message here - do your own research, and verify what others tell you - just shows how solid you are as a pastor. My local pastor constantly encourages everyone to go verify everything he teaches. My favorite bible scholar, Chuck Missler, did as well when he was still alive on Earth. I agree that there is very little about the Nephilim, but they are definitely mentioned. That would be a fun discussion if you ever wanted to compare notes on the topic. God bless, and I'll be praying for your healing and God's leading about your plans for going to Israel.

When Jerusalem was destroyed, the Roman ruler insisted that they build a statue of the god Jupiter on the site of Christ’s tomb. That’s how you know it It was excavated under the church of the holy sepulcher

I think we can learn a lot from Israel's example in the OT, both from the good and bad. God rebuked Israel when they needed rebuke, and they faced some heavy punishments, but God never stopped blessing the world through them, He didn't abandon or give up on them, and even now, He still has a plan to redeem/restore them. The church needs rebuke sometimes, but the incorrect response is to want to walk away completely. It implies that we think God's wrong for loving the church, even with all her mess. And often, I'm guilty of many of the same things (even if they manifest differently)

I have learned a great strategy: You can't be angry or bitter about things you aren't hearing about. Every time you get angry or bitter about something, take a note of where you heard about that thing. Then make an effort to consume less of that kind of information For me that meant I had to browse reddit less, watch/read the news less, browse controversial discussions less, and don't bring up the topic with other people who have a lot of those sorts of things to complain about Bonus points if you replace it with stories about GOOD things the church is doing. The hard part is admitting how much I LIKE arguing with people. That's the real reason why I was having a hard time avoiding stories of hypocrites. Because I was compulsively seeking it out. But you can't argue people out of their sin. Exercising Philippians 4:8

This is why, at minimum, understanding how to do exegetical study. Christian and non-christian alike have no clue about the Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic. My grandmother was raised Holiness, and she was convinced that the KJV was literally the original language of the text. I also had someone tell me that Adam was a pseudonym for atom, because they sound so similar. It all happened with a single atom, big bang type of stuff. Willful ignorant, of which I am guilty. I would read into it my own agenda, although I probably still do, I am aware and correcting course.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I want to tell you, with the greatest love and respect, that this Garden Tomb is not the burial place of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a symbolic remembrance designated in the 19th century by Evangelical Christians. The Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem is the location of the original tomb. This was the recognized location of his tomb since the First Century, and has always been recognized as such. A church was erected over the tomb in order to protect it, hallow it, and preserve it as the holiest place in Christendom, being the center of the world's conflicts. Every year at Pascha, Easter, the Holy Spirit comes down with flames (which do not burn), just as in Pentecost, inside the tomb. This has been happening since the time of Christ. This your birthright as a believer in Christ: this is your heritage: this is Christ's gift to the world.
