can you help me pls if you can,how did you configure RTSS to work properly in SF6,cuz in-game vsync eats too much fps,but screen tearings are annoying aswell
@imAgentR
@imAgentR 6 күн бұрын
Hmm, I’m not sure what to do outside of adding the SF6.exe to RTSS and making sure that NVIDIA Reflex or AMD equivalent is enabled in the settings. Considering if it can hold 60 FPS, you shouldn’t be getting screen tearing. Maybe the occasional dip during a super or the text at the end of the match, but not tearing. Also make sure your monitor is at 60Hz or has VRR enabled.

@imAgentR
@imAgentR 6 күн бұрын
@pikinderus9512 so what’s happening is regardless of what you attempt to do there’s always gonna be some kind of screen tearing because it’s not matching the refresh rate of the monitor unless you had a variable refresh rate monitor so what you’re going to have to do is either the CRU tool or just on your monitor settings in the window settings for display settings you can set the refresh rate to 60 Hz and you shouldn’t see any of that problem anymore

I think quite a few people are talking their statement too literal. After all, they are there to get people pumped up for what’s coming. I feel like they are just saying they are excited and confident RDJ is going to do a great job playing DR. Doom. Playing up the fact he is going from Iron Man to DR. Doom is pretty crazy. Which makes what’s coming pretty interesting and exciting. Marvel has hit a bad slump and making this move could help generate more interest for the upcoming movies. Like it or not. This is a good move for Marvel on multiple levels. Hopefully the script and story are good. I side on the side of hope. As far a RDJ and why would he want to come back. No Man's Sky to me: Since 2018 well over 3000 hours in this game across multiple saves. NMS has pirate battles, sentinel battles, animal battles (predatory), ship cutomization, ship hunting (interceptor + exotic ships) vary in unique ways. Expedition reward ships with unique features, Freighter owner ship + fleet send that fleet on missions, Build out freighter (customizable), base building on planet even high up in the altitudes if you want or lowly cave bases (just pick already made caves or the terrain will grow back over what you build so planning is involved). Farming produces materials you can then use to build out various items, some may trigger planetary scans for illegal contraband triggering the authorities if you go thru the 5 waves that ensue the sentinel freighter fight comes with unique reward if you take it out. Mechanical mining can self mine once you build power for it add storage you can build out a route to go by and collect resources that you've build out for your land based bases. If resources is something you don't like there is a creative mode as well as a chill game mode that allows you further choices on your style of playing the game. There is story and lore to find and it's tedious at times. The game is mostly about exploration, seeing cool things from the scope of Science Fiction, some of it is mildly cartoonish. I'd say more along the lines of science fiction that cartoonish, but that is just an opinion. There is mild hand holding, typically in the form of hints on screen suggesting to you what to do. The game does not force you to do any of it. It's up for you to decide what you want to do and how. For some this can be overwhelming not to mention confusing. Going into it you should realize No Man's Sky is more or less a "sand box" of sci-fi things to do. It's not primarily a FPS or a RPG. It's a sand box of space related stuff of overwhelming capabilities. The recent World's 5.0 part one update adds to this with an ever more immersive feel to it. It's not that we didn't have decent water before or storms or enemies to fight or multiple land vehicles to roam a planet with not to mention on foot if you want to. The choices are mind boggling and so much more immersive than before. Playing the game from a large screen high def TV isn't really the same as watching a trailer on youtube. I still actively play NMS and as in it's not perfect even with this update, it is still the GOAT in my game collection and I've been playing games since pong came out in the 1970's. I haven't played Starfield as watching videos of others playing it I decided against it so far, in 8 years maybe the fix Starfield to the point I might be interested in it. Some that take on NMS may not get what this game is all about. It's not a game intended to rush to this and that to finish it. Some find it hard to get over this aspect that is all too common in other games, not just space sim type games.

@@imAgentR yeah the main reason for my post is to help Hello Games get more people into the game because they haven't charged me a penny for none of this since 2018. I bought the game on sale for $49 at the time. (It's cheaper now if you find it on sale.) Another tidbit of info for you: While there is story "lore" if you will within the game -- the bigger story is what you make, the decision you make in the game while playing it. If you're afraid of death in the game because of what happens to you or your stuff upon dying in game, the story you create is likely to be more mundane than someone who casts fear asside and faces the possibility of death for doing something or going some where (in the game) that increases the odds of death in the game. Many times things that happen in the game in relation to your character dying... Hey what is that over there? you get there (something happens) you react, you take damage, try to conquer, take more damage, get scared and flee, but while fleeing something else happens that may wind up being your demise (in the game). So the story is more along the lines of what you did or didn't do to cause your own death. (some of this is also in the lore of those who drank the water or etc, etc.) but often times the story (text based) isn't as fulfilling as experience the death of character yourself even with the consquence of that action. If you're not dying at least occasionally then your story will be more mundane. For some that is enough and maybe after you die 5-10 times in the game and experience those losses you may change vision again or embrace the defeat and try some more. Good luck, Traveller.

Yes, you can leave planets in No Man's Sky without loading screen. That was in the initial buggy version and was the main selling point with little else. That was maybe the one feature they added from the start and that was basically the whole point of the game. An endless sky that's so big it belongs to nobody... no man's sky. And not only there are a lot of procedurally generated worlds in No Man's Sky, but the ENTIRE universe with all the planets and star systems and space stations and bases, and ships and multi-tools and loot, EVERYTHING you encounter is procedurally and randomly generated. It's based on a single universal seed across every individual installation of the game though. This is why it's possible to find the same places in different installations of the game. The game builds itself around the player location according to one universal recipe book. It's random, but there's a method to it's randomness and it's exactly the same kind of random for everyone, every time. The reason you get a unique experience every time you start a new game is cause the universe is so big, you never spawn in the same spot ever and no matter where you go you'll never visit every single planet on every single system. Not even close. There are many people who can't play this game. That is because you need to let go of your desire to complete. You WILL NEVER complete this game! You can set little achievable personal goals for yourself, but you'll never go everywhere and do everything. I guess it's a nightmare for completionists.

Bethesda took the Trump business plan on starfield and just started making wild claims with no ability to back those up. They specifically targeted criticisms about No Mans Sky and said they were going to make a space sandbox that addressed all of them. Then they recycled fallout using a series of AI tools so that the project developers and CEOs could pocket the entire dev budget. There are very few innovations in starfield. It is worse in almost every metric than its target competition, with the exception of a fairly good ship builder. No Mans Sky retaliated with an unfortunate ship building tool of thier own, which could really use a lot more variety. No mans sky also needs to increase it's sentient life interactions. It feels like it lacks relatable NPCs. After a while they all wind up feeling very cardboard. Everywhere you go there is evidence of a robust complex civilization, but the NPCs don't appear to actually be connected to thier own ruins. The entire NPC universe in NMS has little more depth than to represent a kiosk, which sort of breaks immersion. All that being said, it is still the pro athlete to starfields cocky teenager.

The aesthetics and ship-building mechanics in Starfield are exceptional. As you mentioned, Starfield keeps leading you from one hollow activity to the next. I keep thinking that if only the ship mechanics were more integral, they could tie everything together. By allowing progression without requiring investment in the ship, they've effectively eliminated any meaningful feedback loop as you hop around the stars (load the next cell). I don't think Starfield is a lost cause, but I expect the modding community will be the ones to figure out how to make it fun.

Don't get your hopes up about Starfield, it just like fallout 76 isn't ever going to get better, because the company was going down hill for years and now they're bought and owned by the most corrupted tech company there is! The reason No Man's Sky is one of the biggest come back kids, is because Hello Games went to ambitious with their scope and was too small of a company to pull it off. Bethesda on the other hand has bene putting out cheaper and dumb down crap since Oblivion, which is my favorite, and Skyrim was the last decent game, which they have been milking for the last 13 years! Look at Fallout 4, goodish FPS mechanics, very atmospheric, crappy main story, barely okay side quests, dumb downed Fallout RPG mechanics, buggy even to this day! Now, of course it's possible MS has Todd pull a miracle out of his butt, but most likely Todd and the rest of Bethesda surviving team will be either be sprinkled among other projects, retired, or laid off. The modders bless their hearts are making an effort to fix and improve Starfield, but look what they are stuck with. Loading screen simulator, npcs that have all the depth of a sheet of copy paper, and as smart as to boot! The main story is like the worse parts of Skyrim and Morrowind's main plot, throwing them into a wood chipper and bagging what comes out the other end, no matter how convoluted. Also lets not forget the woke crap they put in the character builder, main story and sprinkled here and there to try and get the money from a tiny group of people who either don't want to spend it, or can't get their aging Boomer/GenXer parents to! Now, even if the modders fix all the bugs, and good luck with that, give it a face life, and even improve the balance, what do you have left? A stable, beautified, woke-ish, loading screen simulator! Now, there might be a small group who decides to create a large DLC, but that takes how many years to finish? Let's check on how long its taking for them to create Skyblivion, Skywind! Oh, it's been over a decade and we're still waiting? Exactly! Mic drop!

Yeah, someone needs to make a T-Shirt that has his face on it, just below it reads "It just works... NOT!!!" Because it has never "Just works" in any Bethesda game. They have all been buggy and janky launches, but before Fallout 76 people just laughed and brushed it off. With 76 the fans were very disappointed, and now with Starfield, most of them, like myself are done being nice about it. I owned Daggerfall back in the 90s, then Morrowind, then Oblivion which is my favorite because it was easier to get into than the previous too, but not as dumbed down as Skyrim. Also Fallout 3, Fallout 4, which I have over 1500 hours sunk in. I stopped at 76 and waited, hoping that with enough bad press they would have learned better with Starfield. When I watched the first review, my heart sank, I got a knot in my stomach my blood pressure went through the roof and I was beyond pissed! My view hasn't changed with each and ever review and update. I really don't know if Elder's Scroll 6 is going to come out, and I'm not sure I really give a damn anymore if it does. It would have to be a Skyrim killer but in a good way, and I don't think modern Bethesda can pull it off. Especially now they are no longer a company, but a under the control of MS and we all know what MS is like since it's conception and especially with 11.

I can’t speak to it having less; generally I base games on their own merit as much as possible. However, I do think the main metric is simple: do you find it fun. Then we can get into what makes things fun, which has general and subjective elements. I play all of those action games that you mentioned from yesterday year and yes, they are all amazing for their level of technical input and encourage everyone if possible to go and play older games because they’re still very much alive almost always without the influence of modern gaming and live service monetization. But there isn’t a 1:1 for ZZZ, because those games and it are attempting to do different things- no jumping is a dead giveaway to that point.

Hmm I like the doctor quandary. What about designing a new product to fulfill that niche? Although you can argue it's more efficient to modify the device for a intended purpose

I love ZZZ. The vibes are chill and the combat is addicting chaining attacks and dodging/parrying. What would be the fighting game you recommend for a player who didn't want anyone to have any outs with a modern setup? Your right SF6 is better for modern but I'm trying to respect players who don't agree with it, so what's a modern fighter that fullfills this?

The dodge and parry windows are very generous in ZZZ. I imagine future content will have enemies with smaller windows of defense to address the easy difficulty

First, appreciate the comments. It’s been a while since I’ve played Guilty Gear: Strive, but I don’t remember that game having any sort of simplified inputs and that still has a very unified player base. Isn’t that like the only one now? Unless they’ve changed that. The devs want more players and the simplified inputs are a convenient bridge.

@sonicallstarify yeah that’s one of the things I do like about the concept of life service being able to go back into the game and tweak the content according after you feel like the player brace has gotten into whatever metric you want them to be at. I’ve been having a blast with the game. I have addressed on Twitter/X with the devs some of the heavy handedness of the plot at least in the way they handle it. But I do enjoy the story itself. Will be uploading a lot of content on the game I hope in the coming days.

Pro tip. Never mount your aio radiator on the bottom. This will prevent the air from gathering in the pump or somewhere that will impact the thermal efficiency. I have the same case and was able to mount this on the top even with a larger 4070ti gpu

Would a good air cooler solve your problem, water cooler on the bottom? beginner thing.
@imAgentR
@imAgentR Ай бұрын
I could have easily put an air cooler on it and kept the ATX PSU in the case, but I wanted the water setup, combined with the fans blowing over the vrms to get the cooling maxed out for my OC. That’s why the AIO is on the bottom, pulling that air through. Never hear it during operation and during gaming sessions the cpu never climbs above 67° under the heaviest workload-as that’s what most people are concerned about. I tested it for myself-why would I need hand holding from the internet?
@vmel29
@vmel29 Ай бұрын
@@imAgentR Never place a water cooler at the bottom, as this will make the pump the highest point. In other words, air will accumulate in it and damage your cooler, this is a rule and you will rarely see a setup like this. Any video you post is subject to criticism. Good luck.

@vmel29 valid criticism is all I pay attention to. The pump is in-line and in the middle of the loop on a pure loop 2 from be quiet I responded to this one, because it was assumed I was a beginner who didn’t do their research. Just clearing that bit up is all. If it were a different case I might put the AIO on the top, but then I’d test again to make sure it was optimal for my situation.

I think i faced you on Duel links. That was a nice game, you played well. That was hard to win beacaude i didnt draw my Hyperion cards but If you have artifact lancea i reccomend to play It, its auto win against my deck when you go first and you can add It with your skill or the magic card light of the soul.
