As an aspiring modeler, animator, and games artist, I just wanted to say that I love your videos! Everything here is so expertly done and it gives me ideas on what to do for my own character models! If you do end up streaming or doing a longer video, I'll definitely watch since I'm dying to know more about your process.

How would you animate the face? make different texture maps ?
@KeyframeChef11 күн бұрын
Heyo, you can animate the face by either using different texture maps or having several expressions in the same texture map and use UV offsets to switch between the expressions. I explore this a bit more in my latest video.

how long have you been 3d modeling for??
@KeyframeChef11 күн бұрын
Hmmm hard to say, I've been on and off 3d modelling for many years. It's probably something like 2-3 years worth of active 3D modelling spread across a bunch of years of inactivity. 😅😅

The end result is so fascinating!! Have you ever considered opening commissions for these types of models??

Thank you!! 🩷 I don't have any spare time for commissions currently but I will definitely be opening it once things quiet down with work. 😁
