In many videos about flat Earth there is the claim that the Sun is very small and close to the Earth. It is said to travel in a circle above the flat disc and shine down like a spotlight, illuminating only a portion of the Earth, while the non illuminated parts experience night. If this were true, the Sun should get smaller and smaller as it moves away as night approaches. This is not what happens. At sunset the Sun appears to sink BELOW the horizon, bottom first. Everyone, who has observed the Sun and Moon rise or set, has witnessed this phenomenon. When I watch the Sun set, from sea level, and then turn and look at the mountains behind me, they are still fully illuminated. As the minutes pass the base is engulfed in shadow. The shadow creeps up the mountainside as this side of the globe Earth rotates away from the Sun. From my perspective, the Sun is sinking lower, which casts the shadow higher and higher on the mountain until only the top is illuminated. It receives the last light of the day in this location because it is the highest point. From this height you can see further over the horizon and would experience sunset later than a person at sea level. This is also why the Sun sets later the further West you travel and rises earlier when you travel East. The mountaintop will be the first local area to receive the morning light as the globe Earth rotates, bringing that point back towards the Sun. None of this is possible on a flat Earth with a small, close, spotlight Sun moving around above the surface.

My husband was the valedictorian at his OBGYN graduation without even intending it. He just worked hard as usual and he’s still working with the same passion, but enjoying life, family and friends at the same time, just for the sake of doing his best, not for recognition. That’s what I admire him the most, a humble, smart and hard working guy. Integrity and humility are two virtues hard to find these days but there’s still are some like that. 👌🏼

Female warriors are (alas) weakened by brutal and systemic abuse. Healthy-weighted women are shamed into mediocre jobs. Thin women are cast into mindless and small roles of singing apprentices. Let's get serious. Let's rebel, ladies, by eating real foods to give us real energy of a warrior princess. Brilliance shines under the obvious. Wow! New language! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

The greatest achievement at any season of life is what Jesus admonished to the religious expert of the Law ‭Matthew 22:37, 39-40 Jesus said to him, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.” Congratulation to you for exemplifying this Biblical truth.!

for Episode 9 of the star wars movies in theaters, i wanted the NightSisters of Dathomir and the Hutt Clan to hear Leia's distress message and come to destroy the resistance because they killed Darth Maul (General Kenobi) and Jabba the Hutt (Princess Leia) and while the Hutt Space Ships would have an epic space battle with the Resistance fleet, the NightSisters would take Rey to the planet below and use force magic against her. and i wanted the Knights of Ren to show Kylo their true master Darth Jar Jar. who we saw in the red room in Episode 8 in the back of the room in a black cloak, remote controlling Snoke's body like it was weekend at Bernies' no one seemed to notice that Snoke had a huge gash in his forehead, he was already dead and Jar Jar was moving him around like he was alive. and Darth Jar Jar could have taken Kylo to Korriban, that would have been the first time we saw the planet on film in the theaters, and it would have been an epic place to have movie number 9 end at . as it has rich history with the Sith

I really hope this film garners the views that it deserves. Hands down (pun intended) the best Star Wars fan film I have ever seen. You can feel the soul and passion radiate through every scene and in every encounter. The story and the message exceed anything Disney has produced. It was witty and fun. Even the extras had character (my favorite was Issac). May the force be with you and your team!

The show at my school this year is the little mermaid (I’m not in it, just a part of the tech crew) and the girl who plays Ursula is SO GOOD! Her voice is literally amazing and she’s a great actress too! She could totally be on Broadway someday. Also after the rehearsal the guy who played Eric asked her to prom and it was so cute :)

I still remember my Kindergarten graduation. I just graduated from 8th grade about 4 weeks ago, and looking back at it, I grew up so much, and have changed in so many amazing ways since then. Seeing these kids graduate reminds me of my Kindergarten graduation and how long ago it was. I hope all these kids grow up to do amazing things for the world, and for themselves. Congrats. God bless them all and their families.

I gotta know, Jayma's saber she constructs at the end. Where did you guys get that? Website and model? Kinda looks vaguely like Shan's, but also has a splash of that Wookie's "can't remember his name" wood saber in the carvings. I know it's neither of theirs, but I really wanna get an empty of that. That definitely isn't LGT lol.

Ok, so, remember hat one time, when I named our protagonist darth marysueish or some such? Then there's this other time, I mention only halfheartedly paying attention in the beginning? Put those two together and you get a retraction... of foot from mouth. This chick's journey is structured flawlessly. I should've went for the rewatch before running off at the mouth. I could of course delete my last comment, but hell. Guess it's documentation of my own zero's quest lol. Yeah, even the little of tee tiny issues I had with some wooden dialogue are just nowhere to be seen this second time through. I don't really like giving my opinion of content, without finding anything negative, as if all I have are good things to say, I think I sound like a shill. Hello, my public profile name is shillery shilless the shit, and i approve this movie. This is freakin BEAUTIFUL folks! Well, well done, so much this is awesome, like all the this is awesome there is to be had is yours! This doesn't have that "I'm okay in premiere, and poindexter over there collects helmets and sabers, let's larp a movie" feel AT ALL! Like nowhere in this, do I get pulled from the story, because of budget or skill constraints. This is something all involved can most certainly have the utmost pride in! My last review of it was around 90% positive, with 2 small knitpicks. Those were a result of me not getting too focused on the movie, until the middle of the 2nd act. A mistake I certainly rectified on my immediate 2nd watch, and that lapse is the genesis of my only 2 gripes, so bad me, stupid me. I did better, and I am in love with the style of this, the flow, the charecters, the dialogue, the personalities of our 3 main charecters, are amazingly pro quality fleshed out, and developed. Darkness, sunnyboy, and mrs middleton are all just cruising along, spittin hot fire every line, making it look like just another day in their lives, totally not actors playing a role, they're kickass actors wreckin their parts, with mad force level precisiion.

I am so sorry that I rushed to get back to the movie. I caught up to the point where I was snared last time, and about 10 minutes past it, and just couldn't wait til the end to come back down here and fall all over myself rembling endlessly about just how wonderful this is, and only gave 3 of our actors their egojob, forgetting that they aren't the only one's on screen, and certainly not the only one's with the whole "this shit is just the easiest thing in the world" way of breathing the life into the charecter their owning like a boss. In fact, I'm very willing to give equal praise literally to every single solitary individual participating in this movie. This is truly astoundingly polished, and professional level stuff. There's too many great charecters to name here, so I refer to the handy list at the end of the movie, those, those are the ones who did a kick ass omega mutant level job on this movie. Convenient that. Alright yall shut up, I'm hitting play.
