The on,y problem is they don’t give 3x on a lot of “travel” categories that the CSP/CSR does…

I have both. Most of my spend is on AmEx, but I just got the WF Autograph and Citi SP. I like Chase redemption options, but Citi is better in every way for daily spend. If Chase added real groceries and gas stations, I might keep it another year, but as it stands, I’m canceling most of my Chase cards when they are up for renewal. Both my Delta Business Gold and Delta Platinum are better hotel cards, too, the latter includes a companion ticket yearly, while both give $150 hotel credit that is easier to use than either Chase or Citi.

do a video on the new trend, the 8 dollar late fee backlash is coming, synchrony raised the rate of some cards to 34.99, Usaa just jacked the balance transfer fee from 3 percent to 5 percent and my amazon gift card minimum went to 5.00 per transaction. All of this in 30 days from an 8 dollar late fee rule.

I own the Chase trifecta, Amex gold (which I’m considering canceling), and the Venture X. I’m debating if I should get the citi strata or boost my venture x with the savor one card. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks…

After getting all SUBs possible, I think just picking an ecosystem that fits your lifestyle, you could do a 3 card setup and be just fine.

Have this card for almost a year and have a trip to Japan coming soon. Called the admirals club line and they told me I wouldn’t have access to Sakura lounge ( flying on JAL aircraft but ticket bought at AA website) at NRT bc AA don’t have admirals lounge in Tokyo. The website clearly state that card holders DO have access to partners lounge. Anyone had this experience that can share with me how to get access to Sakura lounge using this card? I am flying coach

How would you compare this to the Citi Costco Anywhere Visa Card? With Strata Premier what is the value of 1 point as they say 3 points for every dollar? Does this card have a better cash back ratio then the Citi Costco Anywhere Visa Card? My main thing I look for is restaurants, gas, grocery for cash back overall. Don't care for the travel since I have the Amex Platinum. Which card of the two would be best for cash back rewards ultimately. Thank you in advance for your respective response.

The only time I'd get an AMEX everyday card would be if you're looking for an MR earning card to keep your MR points you earned on the Green, Gold, or Platinum that you're cancelling

One of citi premier’s superpowers is 2 years of extended warranty, vs just 1 year with most other cards, including sapphire preferred. Good for purchasing big ticket items

I have the Strata Premier. I would go for the Sapphire Reserve over the Preferred if I went that route, which will happen if my wife and I do more travel. It does help that I have the Amex Platinum from Morgan Stanley.

Great card but missing high value Air Canada is huge bummer. You can book San Francisco to Switzerland $4k business flight for 70k air Canada points on Swiss air.

Portals don’t often provide good value due to inflated prices for air and accommodations. I only look at transfer partners and point accumulation based on my usual spend. I’m holding 15 credit cards right now and I’m taking a break.

CSP For me I get 3x back on groceries at Publix paying with the Publix app.

Hey Mark. My comment isn't about this video but I remember you did a great video on getting the wyndham CC, then linking to Caesars reward for the platinum status so you can go to the Atlantis (Bahamas) for free during certain months of the year. I tried to make my first reservation and they told me Caesars cancelled their relationship with Wyndham. They also lowered our rewards status from Platinum to gold. Are you aware they did this?

Just as an outside perspective that doesn't have either, the Citi looks better. But reading a lot of negative things about Citi's portal and customer service kinda makes me pause.

I solve the decision by having both. I have CSR, P2 had Strata.

With all of the data breaches going on, that virtual card number is a super helpful benefit.

Wish that the breakdown with these battles was a tad bit more in depth. For instance costumer service....citi runs great set of cards some of the best in the game but if you get caught needing technical support or speak to a rep its almost always down hill.. You are left on your own. Great set of cards but never get cuaght needing a question to be answered or a problem to be solved....ever.

Saw someone point out they are both CSPs Citi is definitely for those who are slightly less travel focused, but still really good
