My 765R 2020 was dyno tuned on stock ECU. Stock headers, slip-on Scorpion and BMC air filter. Why only on 5 & 6th gear the exhaust always pops when releasing the throttle, small quick throttle touches are like shooting AK47 and also around 4k RPM engine do not feels smooth? Any ideas? Map is messed up and should be corrected by tuner? Please help...

do you do postal tune? 765RS blackwidow decatt, k&n filter. I can't afford a dyno tune. i'm happy with a postal tune to woolich general map settings.slip on air filter. I don't want the bike running lean. as I think it is.

When I was a boy, a long time ago, I had a 1977 Z1000 with a lovely aftermarket 4 into one (vance & haynes) with a large baffle. Late one evening, I was making my way home on a country highway when the last bolt holding the baffle in place must have sheared through and fallen out, followed shortly thereafter by the baffle. It was like an instant switch in sound from healthy litre bike at 6,000 rpm to steroid abusing semi truck at 120 decibels or better. I did find the bafffle and discovered another benefit of using loctite when doing the repair.

Mine made the same 179hp with Brocks Alienhead full system with airbox mod.

The key to getting power above 10k rpm seems to be getting the throttle to do what you ask. The stock tune backs the throttle valves off a huge amount in the upper rev range.

Great to see you back on the tube Crispy! Still enjoying my Z1000SX that you tuned up really well for me. Generally speaking, most people have no idea the work involved which you do. For most, its a black and white decision over more HP- and will have no idea or even care about timing preferences, secondary throttle mapping, correct mixture of air/fuel throughout the throttle range and the dynamic marriage of all of this data through each gear. Removing the EVAP circuit, PAIR valves and having de-CAT headers is usually not even on a lot of peoples radar either! Thanks for the good work you have done for me and many others Crispy. I test rode a 2021 BMW S1000XR the other day, and although an awesome machine, it was juddery in second at slow speeds, and other areas of fuelling ticks. Bit slow to pick up from the off, and ran super HOT. Was wondering if you could smooth one out and sort its Euro 5 subservient issues??

Still 4th gear only pulls? At the end you ran through the box……which is how a real tune is done……besides the dynojet numbers being off by close to 20%…….dunno if I can take this as truth.

Any idea if this will work with a Daytona Moto2? I know it's not listed as compatible, but the 765 street triple pcv works with them.

Which model years can you remap?

With a good remap/flash, that yoshimura exhaust should push 135hp to 12krpm from or 100hp 10krpm. Me, no baffle😅😅😅😅

I have a Z H2 with a flashed ECU and a pipe. It runs 213 on pump gas. No other bike feels like it.

I had my 2019 H2SXSE remapped, just wanted the snatchy throttle and restrictions taken out. She’s got a K&N, Akro can with baffles removed, was producing 189 at the back wheel, now kicking out 222… silky smooth all the way through and as it happens, better on fuel! I then did the best part of 4K through France and Italy two up with luggage… Monster of a bike and I never thought I’d say that after having Busa’s for 14 years👌🏽

I would never make any changes to my Zed that made her at all louder. Running in "just a whit under open headers" mode is a really poor decision, imnsho. To each their own.

Its a shame it's only going to become tarnished and corroded from all the salt they throw all over the roads in that cold,dreary,dank,miserable,black and white,God forsaken country. Poor bastards....😢
