The people of Africa and the Middle East have been exploited by western countries for years. Turkey offers these people a fair share, cooperation and real freedom. We reject exploitation. We refuse to be deceived and used. We have to be strong against injustice. May Allah, the omnipotent creator, help us.

16:36, if this project began in 2022, where did the Gov't. (which wasn't truly established) after the American withdrawal in April 2022 with their accounts frozen, mass starvation & upheaval from a Taliban take over. Where on earth did they acquire such massive funding when their people were starving & leading a mass exodus out of the country? In addition to all the massive fraud & corruption of the leaders (Karzai, etc.) who stole all the capital money. If anything this financial achievement is very confusing given all these factors?

@06:39 & @14:28 & @19:30 "Trans-form-A-tive" instead of "trans-FORM-ah-tive". @11:09 "Over-ar-King" instead of "over-ar-CHing". With all of the other mispronunciations and periodic odd pauses, I'm thinking this is an AI narrator and there was not much oversight of the output. The devil is in the details. Finessing & polishing is requiring when presenting information to the public. @20:48 For a channel focused on infrastructure, to stumble on "gauge" when talking about railroad tracks is especially odd. It's pronounced "GAJ", not "GOWJ" (and measures the distance between two rails).

With the cost of the islands of the order of 1000 USD per m sq, perhaps a truly floating island could be build, with sides and the bottom from reinforced concrete? This shell could be filled with something lighter than water, perhaps hollow concrete blocks...

This is not even near New Orleans. There are 3 levees between this project and New Orleans right now. This is in St. John parish and it protects the refineries and grain elevators from flooding during a storm which has NEVER happened so far. Make the refineries, process plants and grain elevators pay for it!

The Mississippi River has never flooded in my lifetime, and I have lived in the city my entire life, except for college. Katrina was not hurricane damage, I know people who stayed and made it through the hurricane, it was the bad design of the levees in the city. A few of them broke due to the lake to our north pushing the water back to the city. If the levees had been built correctly, we would have had damage, but no where close to what occurred during Katrina. It was a Cat. 3 when it hit us.
