I’m just curious but do you use metro gel which is a prescribed cream to combat the redness ? You look very inflamed especially the nose. I have rosacea as well with the broken capillaries mainly and slight redness . I don’t have enlarged pores nor the bumps . I do use the metrogel with keeps the redness down and helps keep the condition from advancing . I’ll definitely check out the products you’re using. Ty for the demonstration.

Thanks very much! I am trying to use this method to train my now-9-month-old boy to sleep. He had the same problem, teething, sick, and then 1 month ago, COVID! After sleeping in mum & daddy's arms for 1 week, he totally forgot how to sleep through the night. After a couple of weeks, he is definitely doing well most of the day naps, but the night one we haven't started with the training yet. Just like you mentioned, I am not sure if I am doing the right things, as he just stands, tries to make noise to draw my attention, kicks legs etc,. You gave me a lot of confidence to carry the practice into night-sleeps, and fingers crossed!

So I tried it with my 14 month old today and at first it was going well, she was talking and moving around kinda trying to self soothe. However, she started to get frustrated, fussy then crying very badly. I picked her up, tried putting her back down to continue at each time she cried harder and I just gave up rocked her sleep. Should I try it again tomorrow night??

My baby sleeps for her nap perfectly every day. I lay her down. Walk away close the door she lays down and sleeps in crying. Night time is a nightmare!! I am going to try your method for nighttime this week!! I was going to try the Ferber method but decided to try your way after I saw the video. Thank you for this!! I can’t wait to see what happens. I am desperate for sleep!

I need some suggestions my daughter and her first baby she's 14 months old she's been co-sleeping this entire time and she has her in one of those low bed cribs how can we do this? should we do a real crib now or try to just work it with the bed she has?

i did this method with my 13 months old, it worked but not completely. He was waking up every 2 hours but after this sleep training he was just waking up 1-2 times at night. after a month maybe he was teething and he started to wake up more often to breastfeed, and honestly i didnt want to let him cry while he was teething. So now he is 16 months, he wakes up every 3 hours i think and I have decided right now to try again this method :/ we gonna see how it goes. 😅

Thank you so much, I couldn't stomach CIO and this seems to be working! My 15 month old fell into frequent night waking after getting his molars and some illnesses, and the things that worked when he was a baby were not working. We started with night weaning, that only took 3 days. Now we are doing the pick-up put-down and after a few days he only woke up once last night! Going to keep going, though I noticed that picking him up for a few seconds actually helps him go back down faster even though he is over 12 months and can stand up. He just likes to put his head on my shoulder for a bit while I sing to him and then once he even asked to go back to his crib. Most of the time he is settling himself back down though so I think we are getting close!

My daughter battles rosacea. I can’t wait to share your video with her. She had the laser treatment but, it didn’t help her nearly as much as we thought it would. You’re beautiful and so kind to share this information. Keep letting your beautiful light shine. ❤

Okay, this is exactly my situation. Had a kid that was sleeping well, then all of his molars came in and he kept getting sick and we just chalked his bad sleep the last few months up to those reasons. We need to get him back to good sleep! Thanks for sharing!

My little one just learned how to sit up in her crib. She is 17 months a bit behind in gross motor. But anyways she just started sitting up in her crib and refusing to lay back down. Took her in because I thought ear infection nope. Last night she was up all night dozing in a sitting position. I feel terrible. So maybe it’s time for some sleep training and helping her learn to lay back down! So what if they are a 17 month old bigger baby but doesn’t stand in the crib because she can’t. She just sits?

I will never understand why a mom doesn't want to just hold the baby until he sleeps..or co sleep when they are big enough. I just love being next to my child. I did it with my first child .and I do it now with the baby. Ok .you might not get enough sleep sometimes..but this is just for a short period of your life.. But the benefits and the attachment the baby gets from your presence and hugs and live are endless compared to not showing him affection. A baby needs affection..hugs..love...a mom holding him in her arms... He needs to feel her mom there. That's how you raise mentally healthy kids.

I tried this methid at bedtime and it took 40 mins of crying and hundreds of PUPD before baby fell asleep. And then baby woke up just 30 minutes later and I repeated PUPD for 10 minutes. But then baby woke up after only 10 minutes this time, at which point he wqs inconsolably crying and I couldn't even calm him down when picking him up. Any suggestions, or is this just not a good method for our 5 month old baby?

My one year old has been waking every couple hours at night wanting to snuggle and nurse. But he can walk (worried he’ll fall) and pulls my hair and crashes into my face - no one was getting good sleep! A few nights ago, I moved his bed to another room because I was having to sneak to my bed and he’d get more upset if he saw/heard me. I’ve been doing a combination of this method and letting him fuss. I’ll let him cry if he’s just complaining (he eventually lays down again now that he’s in another room). But I can tell if his crying starts to become distressed and I’ll quietly go in to hug him (while he’s in bed) and lay him down. I’ll lay him down a few times while he calms down and leave the room again. Sometimes he complains again for a bit, but he no longer sounds distressed. He lays back down to go to sleep on his own! Nurse again if he wakes around 6-7. Such an improvement over nursing every 2 hours! Can’t wait til he consistently sleeps through the night!

Hi! My husband and I have a now nine month old. We’ve been rocking her to sleep the past three months now and NEED to do something different, so we are wanting to give this approach a try. Two questions - will this approach work if my husband and I trade off in the night or does it need to be the same caregiver the whole time? Second, we live in a one bedroom and room share with our baby - will this approach work with us in the room after they’ve gone to sleep?

I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible video you created. It's evident that you are a genuine person with a remarkable talent for delivering information in a clear and empathetic manner. Your video resonated deeply with us, and we found your approach to be refreshingly effective. Our situation mirrors yours closely, and while we've faced disappointments with other methods in the past, "your" method seems to be the missing piece for us. Thank you for putting in the hard work and being a guiding force for numerous parents navigating similar challenges. After just four days our 12-month-old is sleeping so much better, we only had one wake up last night. We appreciate your dedication and the positive impact you've had on our family. Thank you once again.
