My daughter teases me for my recent hyper fixation on roses. No luck with cuttings yet in soil. Going to try the water method.

reading ancient herbal books as a child I decided humans don't catnip well. However, I was very very wrong. It's such a WONDERFUL herb for so many people! stomache upsets, anxiety, etc. It's awesome smoked for ADD for a bit of focus; the feeling of focus is Facinating this way. However, just like cats: It is for some of us, and not for others. Try it and see how you feel.

Neem oil never got rid of my spider mites - they always came back. If i had just gotten the ladybugs i wouldn't have nearly killed my plants and poisoned my bees with so much constant neem oil.

I use "Raised beds" soil for everything, inside and out, ground and containers. I prefer to amend my own soil though.

I really don't get why people use chemical ph buffers and alkaline and acidic solutions for home hydroponics. Pretty much most nutrient solutions are either alkaline or ph buffering so really the only thing you ever need is some lemon juice or cirtic acid if you already have it for cooking. The bottled stuff is also just an acid, just "cleaner" and more concentrated. There's no reason to buy that for home hydroponics.

I’m always at Lowe’s looking for plants and since I live in Florida, I have more opportunities to own more beautiful palms and plants. I also love the clearance section at the store. In fact, is the first place I go first.
