They paid $200k do this free show for the public. I wish it sounded better and they picked another one to play than this one in the set list. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was just an instrumental only version, no vocals. I love listening to Eddie play. Example of this is when Eddie played Panama on Letterman without vocals. Sammy’s great but this is not one of his better performances.

They were on fire at this point in time! The 80’s were about to arrive and Van Halen is the soundtrack of this point in my youth. The 2 part harmony with Michael and Eddie is what makes the song IMO! God this was such a magical time for me, before life and responsibilities come knocking.
