At 27:47, why it is that merely changing from a to c makes FullSimplify not fully simplify??

Some transformations used by Simplify and FullSimplify, for instance, reduction with respect to equational assumptions, need to pick an order of variables. Therefore, the results of simplification may depend on the names of symbols. Reduction with respect to the equational assumption using the variable order (a,b) leads to a simplification: In[8]:= FullSimplify[(1 - a^2)/b^2, a^2 + b^2 == 1] Out[8]= 1 With the variable order (b,c), the expression is not simplified: In[9]:= FullSimplify[(1 - c^2)/b^2, c^2 + b^2 == 1] Out[9]= (1 - c^2)/b^2

@@fpasha_mathematica Thank you for the response. I tried several pairs of names and I find you are right in that the alphabetical order of names seems to matter. It seems very strange to me as a beginner... but thanks anyway. Btw, this video helped me a lot to start to learn the program so I appreciate you a lot!!

How we can reduce the time of solving nonlinear equations, because sometimes if we have a non-linear equation 4*4, 4 variables and10 parameters the solution will take days to come and we need super computer to process it, please if there is any idea kindly share it.

Dear Pasha, I watched part I and II of your data visualization videos. Wawww what a great video they are. Both are simple to follow with enough justification for each functions used. I also extremally liked the summry you made at the end of part two. I cannot wait to see your part three and discussions on how to integrate the different visualizations into one place as a dashboard. Pls share the ClowdObject discussions too.

Hiya this is really awesome and assively has helped with my project! I ahve a question thpugh - looking at these data sets now, there is much more information , i.e. rows of administrative areas are 30+rather than just 1 as it was a the time of the video. How do you collate them into one?
