Great job of editing Art. We need more of these throughout the country to get people motivated in working more with each other. Thanks for doing this.

Yea I did the same thing when I road it. I turned around and found the mess on the other end and somehow popped out on a street that led up to the park at the end near the tower.

So I have two squished discs in my lower back and a disk in my neck that’s worn flat that if I do the wrong thing, the nerve gets pinched and swells up, and I’m in excruciating pain for months, but for some reason, the mountain bike does not cause any problems with any of this! The last time I was in really bad pain was racking stones and I went through eight months really bad “knife in the back” pain, but the bike has never caused this for some weird reason.
@ArtFalcon28 күн бұрын
Yeah, neck and/or back problems are a real bummer but they say riding your bike cures all problems, so I guess that’s all we can do! 😂

I know i'm a year late, but i just recently got into biking myself, and i just recently found out about the American River bike trail as well. I hope you get to ride your way to Folsom lake someday! I once tried to go there at old town sac starting from Fair Oaks, never did it again. 😂 the stretch headed to Folsom is one of the most peaceful riding experiences one could ever get 👌
@ArtFalconАй бұрын
Right on! Yeah, ride the wrong side of the river once and you'll never do it again! 😂 Honestly, can't wait to go back and do the ride to Folsom (on the right side, of course!) ✌️

When I was a teenager I saved up and bought a '76 International from Tom's Cyclery on Pacific Ave in Stockton Cali, with the exact same color scheme. With a used set of Campagnolo high flange tubular wheels it felt like I was sailing. So many good memories. I'd love to have one again and tour on it. Thanks for the great video and memories.

This bike was originally purchased in the 70's at Mayfair Cyclery in Fresno, CA. I actually found it in a closet of a home and it looked like it was barely ridden. It's basically all original still and it is really fun to ride but I don't see myself riding it much...would you be interested in buying it?

@@ArtFalcon I live in the area and ride the bike trail all the time! Never ride the south side of the river! American Rive Parkway (which is the north side of the river) is patrolled by rangers. The rangers clear out encampments. The green bridge is Jibboom, go left over that bridge. That leads to Discovery Park, which is the American River Bike Trail.
