Psychology suggests that overexpressing love, affection, or care might lead people to undervalue it, as we often take for granted what comes too easily or without apparent effort.

This is great and I have done all these things previously when handling rejection. However, one can only go through so much and the rejection that comes from family when you are 60 hurts the most. One can only handle so many rejections over a lifetime before one becomes fully broken. God is the strength I have at this time until I can get my 'funk' back.

Im going to say it . Everyone here jas opinions of others because we get our feelings hurt . Yet do we consider that just like we have opinions that there are people that think the same of us. My opinion and well many have opinions if me. Be you no mask. I will continue to learn. Because none of us are perfect.

I really appreciate how this video explores the concept of forgiveness across different philosophies and religions. It's a powerful reminder of how letting go of resentment can lead to peace and even transformation within communities. The story of Prophet Muhammad forgiving the people of Mecca particularly resonated with me. It's not always easy, but this message encourages me to strive for forgiveness even in challenging situations. Does anyone else find certain teachings more challenging to practice than others?

The discussion on actions over words really resonated with me. It's a powerful reminder that our deeds truly define our character. In my experience, actions speak louder and have a lasting impact. Have you had an experience where someone's actions significantly influenced you?"

In Islam, the Quran teaches to avoid pride; In Christianity, the Gospel of Luke emphasizes the importance of humility; and the Stoic philosophy of Epictetus encouraged humility to open the door to learning and growth. Examples of humility from the Prophet Muhammad and Jesus, along with the Stoic view of human limitations, emphasize the importance of humility in achieving wisdom and harmony in life.

Uh huh, so similar, EXCEPT for some extremely important differences; END TIMES, FORCED CONVERSION, and MILITANCY, Christianity was the first intolerant religion in history, with Islam that second. I think this channel is nothing but an assiduous mouthpiece for religious pandering. IT IS A WELL KNOW FACT THAT ISLAM IS A REGION OF CONQUEST. THE JIHAD BEGAN IMMEDIATELY IN THE 7TH CENTURY. THEY INVADED EUROPE AND TOOK TENS OF THOUSANDS OF SLAVES, MOSTLY YOUNG WOMEN. The Abrahamic religions heavily borrowed from other existing religions and ideas to make them more acceptable and easier to accept.

The 3 main religions of Christianity, Islam and Judaism are the scourge of the human race and are nothing but "death cults." Stoic Philosophy is about empowerment of the self and liberating the soul from all bindings that include religious indoctrination. "Knowing thyself" is about knowing your soul which isn't bound to any kind of religious dogma. Spirituality isn't practicing religion, spiritually is about connecting to your higher self and evolving naturally and not being dictated to by religious practices that were ultimately created by humans. Knowing and believing are two different things. Believing is based on blind faith, knowing is through experience. IMHO this channel has no idea about how a spiritual path is walked and for that do your research and actually walk an authentic spiritual path instead of regurgitating reiligious indoctrinated dogma.

Thank you for this insightful comparison of Stoicism, Islam, and Christianity. It's fascinating to see how each philosophy and religion approaches life’s challenges and virtues. As Marcus Aurelius said, 'The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.' i's enlightening to reflect on how these perspectives can harmonnize to enrich our understanding and practice of wisdom and faith.

This is amazing! It's truly surprising to see the similarities between Islam, Christianity, and Stoicism. Especially when it comes to humility, the power of actions, and the importance of forgiveness. Thank you for sharing such profound and incredibly useful philosophies. The similarities that impressed me the most: 1)Humility: Avoiding arrogance and staying humble. 2) Actions Over Words: Taking concrete actions to help others. 3) Forgiveness: Forgiving to find peace and harmony in society. 4) Acceptance of Impermanence: Understanding and accepting life's changes. 5) Pursuit of Knowledge and Wisdom: Continuously learning to become better people.

Forgiveness as a common thread between these philosophies is truly inspiring. Letting go of resentment is challenging, but it's liberating and healing. I remember a time when forgiveness transformed a difficult relationship in my life. How has forgiveness played a role in your personal growth?
