I reckon it should be heritage listed. Pity they can't fix it up as it seems to good a facility to just tear down. Great location, and great views from the higher up apartments. And it would help alleviate the accommodation shortage that Perth is currently enduring.

I got in through the crack at the top part underneath if you know what i mean. I tried getting into the other tunnels but it was a tight squeeze and i was nervous so i didn't. I ended up walking along the length inside. Going in again and will try getting into the other tunnels. its sketchy as but I like it all the same. Edit if you can get into the bridge via the gap, then you can get into the other tunnels. It's a tight fit but I'm sure you can do it.

Hi Perth Urbex Highs, thank you for posting this historic site information and for keeping the location discreet. I am a resident of the Armadale area and I have lived here my whole life. My grandfather worked in that quarry for some time back in the day. Just thought I would reach out and inform you that the tunnel is currently dry, which makes the journey inside much easier but I agree with you that it is an unsafe environment and not really worth the risk to enter. There is another tunnel in the hills of Martin which I would be happy to show to you but this site also requires discretion.

hey mate, any other tips on checking this place out? me and my mate wanna check it out after we took a look at the middle swan health center but we wanna know a bit more about how to get in, like is there much climbing involved and how many security come after being alerted.

I work around the corner from this building and I’m sorry they need to knock it down. It’s ugly, attracts dodgy people and has a horrible history. But defs interesting seeing what it looks like lol. Great views of the city!

First time seeing a place i have memories at abandoned. Did swimming lessons as a kid here around 01/02. Moved interstate in 03/04. Had no idea it was abandoned and later demolished. Still have a certificate with the Playstation characters Jak and Daxter on it from South Lakes. Still remember the mushrooms and that hut thing.

There used to be loads of abandoned houses in midland late 90s early 2000s when I was a teen, most of them are now vacant lots or have been revitalised, if your into this sort of stuff chuck Detroit on your bucket list
