Nice finds! I found a 57 dime and a 14k Dragon pendant yesterday. You should look at the Avantree Torus neck speakers, They are all I use now, way more comfortable in the heat than headphones

Hello Thank you for this super interesting and explanatory video. I have exactly this model and I learned a lot about this model thanks to your video I would love to watch you operate it outside and see what you discover. THANKS I will subscribe to your channel

Hello, I do actually have a video using this and I hate to tell you, but it was a horrible experience. Hopefully they fixed the flaws I found but this in actual real world use turned out to be the worst metal detector I've ever used. I have a LOT of experience metal detecting and have used more detectors than I can count, so I have a lot of background and experience to draw on. You would be much better served with a better detector.

@@FloydNashFixItDad Hello, thank you for your response and your valuable advice, I will change it for another one of better quality very soon to have more pleasure and probably less false sound. Thank you again and we look forward to communicating with you again. Sincerely Bernard

I have an Omo metal detector and it seems like if you tapped a weed or something sticking up a little little bit higher than the grass that’ll make it beep or if you go too far in your swing and it tips up at the end that I’ll make it be bumping into anything will make it beep so be very careful that’s all I found

Nice Large cent! I have both detectors and love them both. For the price it can't be beat. If you water hunt the Legend is actually waterproof, that was the only issue I had with the Equinox.

I've never had issues with the Equinox and water. Maybe mine is just too caked with mud to care.

Nice finds for sure congratulations. I agree with you on the minelab equinox and legend are good machines. Seems like Garrett and first Texas don't want to come out with any New machines
@RelicManFloyd4 ай бұрын
I think they may have been caught a bit off guard with the whole multi frequency thing so they are having to play catch up. Garret has made some excellent detectors over the years so it will be interesting to see what they come up with to play with the new big boys on the playground. It's certainly an exciting time to be into metal detecting.

Necesito configurar el mío, cómo lo configuro? 🤔
@FloydNashFixItDad4 ай бұрын
This detector model only has a mode button to select the hunting mode, and sensitivity. The modes should be all metal and discriminate. All metal picks up everything. Discriminate will cancel out signals for "junk" like nails and pull tabs. I no longer have this metal detector so I don't remember anything beyond that.

Happy New Year Floyd! I am thankful for having a year that I was able to donate & present two different items to a museum. Leaving a legacy is important to me. I am primarily a relic hunter but dug many long awaited bucket lister coins this year. I primarily detect farmhouses & fields. Congratulations on your gold, silver and cool relics 💜

Could DB possibly be Dodge Brothers? Merry Christmas to you and your girls 🎄🎅
@RelicManFloyd6 ай бұрын
Hey Deej! It could very well be Dodge Brothers. I don't know if they put the initials on parts without the logo they used to use with it or not. All I've ever seen is one with the DB in the middle of the logo they used to have, but it makes sense. I'm just glad I was able to get out and get the fresh air and find anything at all. It's been too long.

I realized that after looking closer. I've found some bucket list items in the strangest of places lately. I just yesterday actually found a message from you from about 3 weeks ago I missed somehow. I got a call that the display said probably spam, so I let it go then got a voicemail indicator. I checked and it was just a few seconds as they hung up, but I discovered the message you left too. Don't know how I missed that one. Huge difference in the weather in those 3 weeks though isn't it? Wow is it getting bad fast! Hope you're doing well and would love to get together again some time.

Little spout thing is a jigger for pouring alcohol
@RelicManFloyd9 ай бұрын
Oh, interesting. I can picture that. It's the top for a bottle of alcohol, like a bartender might use for mixed drinks, right? I haven't been to a bar in years and was usually just there with college friends back in the day and did a lot of dancing, and didn't drink any mixed drinks really.
@jeremiparadis78239 ай бұрын
@@RelicManFloyd the only reason I know of the jigger is because I built a tiki bar in my house. I never use it, but I always wanted one...lol

The dingler on the bell. It wouldn't work when I first found it, like most don't, so I took it home to clean it and it started ringing again. Somewhere along the way, I need to update that video. My youngest is now a senior in high school.

Congratulations from England on your fantastic gold ring, what an absolute beauty, I have found several over the years before I was disabled but we are yet to find a gold or silver ring now my wife helps me to detect, but I remember how excited I was when I found my first gold ring, I love finding rings, they are just so personal. We have subscribed to you and look forward to more exciting videos.

Thanks so much! I've found other gold rings before but not this big. I'm not really a jewelry hunter. I like relics more than anything, but I'll definitely take a nice big gold anything any day! I do agree with the personal part. One of my favorite things I've ever found is a tiny hand crafted child's silver ring. Just knowing the love and thought that went into it, I'll never be able to part with it.

Check with Oh Danny Boy Just A Diggin before you buy one. I will try to get his phone number for you. He uses same machine as you and he sold new machine 2 weeks after he bought it. I think it was machine you were referring to. We need to collaborate again, it's been way to long Floyd. Congratulations on the cool coins, ring & silver! Great detecting ethics!
@RelicManFloyd10 ай бұрын
Two weeks seems a bit quick. Unless it's a really low end machine compared to what you have now, you can't learn a new detector in 2 weeks. I have a friend in our detecting group that has an Equinox 800 and pretty much stopped using it after getting the Xterra Pro. That's why I'm so curious about it. Of course, I really want to try the Legend though. Definitely agree we need to colab. Before we know it the year will be over for detecting.

Just got the Simplex. My first go with it was last Saturday at a rally. I had watched so many videos about it that I hit 40 targets and retrieve them all, but my only worth while find was a flat button from around 1790. I don't have any permissions as yet as we are not allowed to detect in parks here in the UK. So watching your videos to see what you find. Subbed.👍👍😉
