The movie Damsel used an analog of these critters to save the heroine.🐛

Came here while watching "Damsel" movie - the part where Elodie found her way into the glowworm cave and had them eating at her wounds to heal herself 😂😂😂😂😂.

I think it’s not the best idea be honest unfortunately with getting too close and upfront with that still in matters of heights and things might bite you or trapped in a lot silk nests like that still think from a distance is still cool l not sure if with safety precautions think be amazing even though l still find it rather amazing for those that would want to see it think traveling to different places out of ordinary but wonderful wonders they have l not trying to object to or against what others may find in amusement l feel that all caverns are unique in their own special ways of their own environment l couldn’t live in even if was surrounded by bats too much guno patties lol 😂 and mosquitoes like glow worms that want snack on themselves and glowy buggy butts toots that sparkle and shine 😂😂 you have love biology there is amazing stuff in the world

Ouch. Never stand on top of a mountain in NZ. Its Tapu. An insult to put your feet on the head of an ancestor.

the slope doesnt look too extreme. Is Ice the secret? I have a moderate slope in my backyard but without Ice my runs dont really work.
@Stokedforsaturday4 ай бұрын
Yes, I used a large watering can to ice it (lots of manual work). You don't need much slope if you ice it up good.

Amazing work and perfect choice of soundtrack! Glowworm caves were the main reason why my husband and I stopped at Auckland on our way to Queenstown.

This looks amazing. Can I ask what time of year you hiked? Did you go alone or use a guide? Where did you start your ascend up the mountain? Or what car park did you use? Thank you. Michelle
