Got my 320ks today. Balsa filter inside the pipe. I know so do and some don't. What disappointed me was there was no extra balsa wood filters like I've gotten with older Sav's. Cost savings I guess?

Great video one goofy thing I did was stretched it too much first time. Just watch how in this video it’s only stretched couple of times so the length is not increased so much pushing it back becomes impossible. So I then destreteched it a little so the length was like in the video. Now it’s working like new.

Does it matter how old the plant is from growing from a seed. Before you can harvest the leaves or is it strictly just color

Yep I've been doing this. I pour it on my compost heap and I also take supplements like potassium,so I should end up with potassium nitrate in my soil.

To-the-point, and made a considerable difference. Over the years you forget how fierce the original spark is, I didn't think the spring was weak at all. Thank you!

If you lived in the UK you'd be rich because the tobacco here for 30 grams is $35 DOLLARS 50 gram is $50 DOLLARS

I wish. Here in Australia a 50g tin or pouch is between $150 and $160 for most brands. Excise duty on tobacco is nearly $1,900/kg, making the duty component of that 50g around $90. Growing your own is of course illegal.

Remember light getting into a moist jar-bag without air flow is a breading ground for mould unless your airing it twice a day, dark cool place after fermentation is the way

Word on the street is that Nicotine is a powerful anti-parasitic... so natural tobacco is actually medicine! Commercial cigs are not even real tobacco, FYI. It's basically inert plant material sprayed with poison.

Hi. New pipe smoker who just ordered this pipe. Could you explain what you did with the whiskey to alleviate the varnish taste in the bowl? Did you pour some whiskey in the bowl then light it and burn off the bad taste? Thanks

Have you ever tried using vacuum sealed bags (like a Foodsaver) for long term storage once you reach an acceptable humidity level? I was also wondering if using a sous vide cooker on a vacuum-sealed bag of tobacco to gently caramelize the sugars and develop flavors might be interesting, I'll have to investigate, I'm sure other people have tried this already.

nice, great idea with the pasta shredder. I'll have to scoop one up, this is my first year growing so I have plenty of time to acquire one. I'll watch more of your videos to get a better idea of what I need to do.

FINALLY!!!! Someone trouble shooted vs tell us how to pour fluid, thread a wick through a hole and palce a flint in a tube and watch it make a flame…..Thank you beacuae all this time it was the spring that was weak causing a weak spark and need to be stretched. Fixed it perfectly as I was about to throw it in the garbage..

Is it not advised to remove the green center stem, first, while drying the leaves, since you have to do it anyway, later? Does doing so take away from the flavor or quality of the final product? Thanks. @smokinpipechannel9602

So far i understand the tobacco fermentation process in 2 ways. 1) put the dry cured tobacco in a home made "kiln". You can use an old fridge or make one from isolation material. Put a crock pot in it and fill it with water. Let the tobacco ferment at a constant temperature of 50°C with a humidity level of max 70% for 4-6 weeks 2) leave the dry cured tobacco leaves in a macon jar for minimum 6 months to a year with 70 % humidity
