Legit question. Why say that this place looks like Heaven and then profane the name of Jesus in the next sentence?

We are going to be in the area in a couple months. I really have no interest in being in SF any more, it's a dead city.

Even when i visited LA 20 years ago when i was 21, it was super creepy - i was so disappointed having come all the way from UK - they make it look so beautiful in the movies. Well now after Kamala Harris and Newsom it is now completely destroyed and experiencing an exodus

Upgrading the roads won't change the skeezy stores there. I drove through around the time you did this year and it's a DUMP.

This is a Socal issue. Moved here from DC in 2019 and regret it everyday. Not only are ppl here flaky but they're also fake. And if I do meet someone I get along w/ they love over an hour away. "The weather" is great but it's not worth it.

So you pretend the bad things aren't there? Pretty much Homeless and drug addicts all over, closed down stores and high crime. I won't be watching misleading videos again.

Great vid! Brought back some memories. My 9 years in SF was great, but I do prefer LA now actually. SF felt like a small town after a while.

Hey Michael, you need to do this route again. I think you can go from gold line to red line on 7th street station. Not all the way to grand central like before. Should be way faster.

Thank you for this video! I lived in LA for 12 years and it truly is an incredible place to find yourself and discover your values and life vision. I am now moving to NYC and am SO excited for the plethora of opportunities and activities there and most importantly my soul has been craving to go there to do a full reinvention of myself - so when your friend said the quote of NYC is the place for becoming someone new, it was 100% confirmation to me that I am making the right decision with my move. THANK U

Other YT vids show an empty fishermans wharf - 90% of stores closed for good. You were programmed to accept theft from stores as legitimate or migrant gangs infiltrating the country: 3 centuries of brainwashing "lefties" - see the "Interview with ex-KGB Yuri Bezmenov: The Four Stages of Ideological Subversion (1984)"

This is more like a plead to people… I was born in Travis AFB in 1959 and grew up in Sunnyvale and Willow Glen. California was a phenomenal place to grow up then, and in my teen years in Willow Glen was a magical time with a great sense of community and safety. Later I started working in now “Silicon Valley” and experienced tremendous advancements in many fields. Then in the late 80’s seemed like the early “Gold Rush” times. Since then the people that have been flooding the Bay Area are rude, self serving, entitled, “get out of my way” type of people. After working for 43 years in a company that has given amazing technology to the whole world my wife and I are leaving this once great state because it’s like watching your meth. Addicted child slowly kill himself. Codependent Liberals have been like a fungus slowly eroding the shine of my beloved home. Bye old friend, please seek help!

hey, nice vid. what do you think about GTA V ? Have you played it? I know the city it's not like the game, but I fell in love with it since 2013. Also except the rent, the other prices are almost 15-20% more expensive as in Hamburg, Germany where I now live..and I find it very expensive..the whole world is now insanely expensive since the pandemic 😢

Been here 1/2 a century. The only good thing about LA is the beach. The rest is crowded and dirty. It will take you time to see that if you’re still in the honeymoon stage, but you will eventually.

To each his own. I pushed the eject button on Manhatten after 18 months. It probably doesn't help that I hate public transportation and have an aversion to mentally ill people. Couldn't be happier to be back home in LA. There's a real simple trick to maximizing your Los Angeles experience; get a motorcycle. Its makes everything easier. You're surrounded by beautiful places to ride. Take classes and join a riding group. Meet new people and explore Southern California. To me living here without a motorcycle is dumb.

north hollywood is a good lower cost-of-living area that is mostly safe and friendly neighborhoods. the city has improved on cleaning up homeless encampments but i suspect its more "corralling" them into areas where there is already a larger homeless population, downtown is a mess the videos are pretty representative of reality unfortunately. its hotter out here in the valley during the summer but can be much more affordable to live here. I got relatively lucky and am paying 2k for a two bedroom with my partner, but i have problems with upstairs neighbors due to the building being relatively old and cheaply constructed (not concrete). its not necessarily ideal but its doable

Theres no community anywhere we have our phones now so isolation and seperation will only get worse until we decide to put our phones down which every corporation will try its best to make sure we don’t.
