When you look at Jackie Chan and look at some of the indigenous you definitely know that there ancestors probably crossed paths in the past because of how Jackie Chan definitely looks indigenous while wearing indigenous clothing and when you look at some of the older indigenous people you can see they look similar to Japanese or Chinese witchever one Jackie Chan is

I love this movie it's 28 years old and still looks incredible lol Fun fact this was the first movie to be put onto DVD lol The little girl in the beginning is Alexa Vega This is basically a 2 hour commercial for Ram Trucks and I love it lol 12:50 great line "can I drive?" "No" "then would you?" Lol 14:45 "where's my truck?" "There it is" lol 17:35 there was an idea to make that cow a zebra instead to tie it into Jumanji which came out a year before this but they decided against it lol 22:20 most "old highways" are two lanes like that so it could absolutely be a highway 30:00 you might've missed it but their fingers are all bandaged up from cutting those cans lol You can actually see the path the tornado took at the end

My grandpa was an extra in this movie. He’s driving the combine at 12:53. That scene was filmed right out in front of his house. That combine actually caught fire and burned to the ground that same year. This movie will always be special to me.

30:32 - The beheading of the three female characters is symbolic of Paimon. If you notice the illustration in the book he has a collection of 3 female heads.

The dude wouldn't stop marinating on why the tornado 's debris would kill them and she is just invested in the emotional impact of the scene where they get to see inside one. Guess who was actually really invested in the story?

Have you two seen Smile? It’s fun, has a few jump scares, and Sosie Bacon, Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick’s daughter, and she’s excellent. Also, Caitlin Stasey’s performance was impressive. Definitely recommend.

Normally, when any human sized living thing on Earth is enveloped by the spray of a flamethrower, thermal shock, and involuntary inhalation of heated combustion gases, is almost immediately fatal. An extraterrestrial xenomorphic cellular organism is totally different though. Gotta burn every last cell to destruction to prevent further spread. Despite their best efforts, this thing would spread. One living cell is all it would take. Thermonuclear sanitation is the only way with this thing. This is the most frightening form of alien life, and to think, there’s even more frightening forms of life, quasi-life, and pseudo-life out there. If you haven’t seen it, “The Andromeda Strain” is an excellent 1971 movie. Definitely recommend. Definitely a different approach to neutralizing the form of quasi-life in that movie. Great reaction!

The skeletons ARE real. They were obtained from an anatomy supply company and the fake decaying tissue added by the special effects department. Plastic skeletons didn’t look convincing enough so they got real and hid the fact from JoBeth until after the muddy pool scene was shot. I guess they figured it was easier to ask her forgiveness than permission. It was rumored that there was a curse on the set. Strange things happened and later Heather died and Dominique was murdered. Great reaction! Like your channel!

Jenny Agutter was in an excellent 1976 movie with Michael York, one of my childhood favorites, called “Logan’s Run.” It’s a utopian/dystopian future where a computer controlled city of people live in a state of apathy and pleasure, but nobody can live past 30, and believe they renew in a murderous ritual called Carousel. Its special effects are kind of dated, but the action and story is excellent. I recommend it if you can find it.

'Old white man in power' can be a good person too, segregating people like this makes no sense, just say Truman was not a good guy, from where does this generalizing fact about 'he was a bad man because he was an old white man in power', Just grow out of these generalizations and treat people as individuals and not groups

The grave mistake people commit is that they judge the creation of the A Bomb in today's context, they don't realize the situations they were building it, Hitler had invaded France, was moving towards Britain and would ultimately go for the US. All this while everyone knew that the Nazis were building a bomb and had their own A Bomb program. The people who judge the creation of the bomb don't realize the situations of that time, it was not like you were just sitting in your room on a sofa relaxing, there was a freaking WORLD WAR going on, the US had no choice but to build the bomb. Tell me how would you react when you know a crazy dictator psychopath like Hitler is building the A Bomb, you would have no choice but to build it before them. This is such a subtle point people forget before judging the creation of the A Bomb and just rant about the damage it cause. of course the implications of the A Bomb were horrible and saddening but there was no other way, it was a fight among 2 snakes, if we won't kill the enemy snake, the enemy snake would ultimately kill us. The building of the A Bombs was necessary, the way they were used was wrong!
