When i lift heavy my back doesn’t hurt. But whenever i do more reps with lesser weight, it feel like my lower back is about to break and the pain would last for 20-30 mins. How may i solve that?

Our bodies are supposed to be machines but they have odd weakness alot of the time. The disc doesn’t cause pain, it’s that evil sciatic nerve. And when I say evil you will know true pain when your experience sever chronic pain such as this. I did not know what real pain was until this. Nerve pain on the this level feels like what I would expect in hell it’s very tortuous and affects you mentally physically and even spiritually.and you actually feel like your mind and body have a disease. Not saying I know what a disease l like MS feels like. Because the sciatic nerve is so big this pain will bring you to your knees, and you will loose all enjoyment in life. As someone who isn’t able to commit suicide, it’s was all that was on my mind for many months.

I don't think it's a good idea to wear your body out day after day. I was a general contractor and did enough lifting and moving but I never exhausted myself. My brother liked to hike but he and his buddy would do intensive hikes often and after a few years they had to stop because they were hurting. Just my thought as my brother has arthritis and other problems from a lifetime of intense exercise. Just my thought on it.

6'5 here There ain't no way in hell being tall DOESNT have a corelation with pain. Even with good posture ive had the same pain my uncle and grandfather (both 6'+) have in the same places with the different life paths. Even my fellow tall dudes at university feel similar issues.

I had knee surgery and a subsequent partial tendon tear after the surgery. The strength on my good knee is substantially more than my bad knee. I've been lifting, squating, leg press, ect, but my low back on my bad knee side has been killing me. Maybe I need to only train the weaker side?

I've always had this feeling that getting in shape was not inherently bad but we weren't supposed to hard break down muscle our whole lives. Short term just to get in shape but after a certain point our body responds better to maintaining that health rather than continuing to try and make gains. Of course a feeling is scientific so I wanted to see if there was a study done on this.

One extra thought... some people definitely see benefits from exercises like this! But there's lots of things can provide pain relief. It doesn't mean that it was because of an increase in core stability or the "correction" of some specific muscle though. It's like taking asprin for a headache- it can help the headache, but it doesn't mean the headache was caused by a LACK of asprin. Just some food for thought.

It seems like everyone is different and people have success with different modalities or programs. I have heard success stories in all these different programs unless there lying. I seen what you think about certain exercises but what do you think about Pri or biomechanics, rehabfix or functional patterns and etc. Just curious to hear your insight.

I have lots of thoughts on those other things haha. Which one are you most interested in? I can make a video

@@natebackunbroken Same I can go on forever on all the stuff I've heard and researched. I'm most interested in Pri or biomechanics. There is actually a guy name Alvin Guo who follows you on Instagram and he uses that method of biomechanics. I can mention a bunch more programs but I'm most interested in that one and it's effectiveness in reducing or eliminating back pain. There are some similarities or what I believe to be similarities in what you say about the nervous system and what he addresses in his program. Sure you know Pri or biomechanics is all about breathing and calming the nervous system. Maybe or simplifying things but don't want to write a massive paragraph. Again this is only the tip of the iceberg of what I'm interested in. Just trying to figure out what would be best to solve my back issue.

in 2020 i was involved in a car accident that left me with a severe disc herniation, and multiple minor bulges in the lumbar spine. images were even able to spot a fracture in a vertebrae in my lumbar spine. all i know if that i have tried everything, and i’ll be in pain for the rest of my life. only treatment i’ve received was physical therapy and epidural steroid injections which did nothing. i’ve just accepted that i’ll always be uncomfortable and live as if i have had a spine of an 80 year old with injuries

I appreciate you sharing. And I'm sorry, that really sucks. Don't give up hope! Seriously, there are always ways out of this. Was the PT pretty generic stuff, like I discussed in this video?

@@natebackunbrokenyeah I’ll the exercises shown in the beginning they had me do, I had to quit because the pain was so intense. I hired an attorney because it was a red light runner who t boned me, so I had to complete the pt in order to win the case, but I was doing the exercises days after the accident 😰 They also put some types of sticky electrode things on my and shocked the muscles? I don’t know what it’s called but it didn’t work. 4 years later new images show I have sever arthritis on top of the old injuries. Every other day I have terrible spasms like a knife is entering my spine, I’ve fallen to the floor a few times because if I hold myself up the stabbing sensation keeps going. All doctors have recommended surgery but I’m trying not to get it only as a last resort

Hello so when you say it heals on it's own.. and it does... does that mean if someone took an MRI and it showed herniated disc. And 3 months later someone heals and takes another MRI it won't show up on MRI since its bow healed? Thanks

You must not work with many people in pain haha. Obviously, lifters and athletes need higher level stimulus and rehab, but these are often still a good starting point for someone with years of pain who' been avoiding these movements for a long time.

I know this will get better with time. But i believe AI cannot replace physiotherapists, on the contrary it can help us with diagnosis, treatment options for a particular clinic/setup, predicting outcomes, whether surgery/medicine reference is required. But it can never replace manual therapy, electrotherapy machines, quick and non conventional decisions etc. But i am for it. Lets see what is in the future... 👍☺️
