Didn't watch all the videos completely, but I didn't see any mention of John Farnham? Perhaps because he never made it beyond Australia, but in my opinion he has the best voice I've ever heard. Agree with others that both Bruno Mars and Steve Perry were hard done by. That's opinions for you, we've all got one.

When I see you ranked Adam Lambert as a S-Tier Vocalist while Freddie is in the Legend Tier, I know your taste of voice is just meh. Adam Lambert has been crowned by the two souls of QUEEN to be the only successor in the world that can take over the role of Freddie or even surpasses him in vocal. They know Freddie much more better than you and they value Adam so much that they think Freddie would agree too, and yet you just put him under S-Tier.. I am speechless. Moreover, giving Dimash the credit to be Legend Tier is unbelievable as well. I agree that he has some really neat techniques in vocal skills and can sing as high as he can, but it is not relatable to most people. I can safely say that the way he sings in pop music is not as good as a good portion of singers in the list while he is unbeatable in opera things. So, legend tier is too much for him when most of the singers up there are pop/rock music singers

Revisiting this after four years. First saw it not very long after my own introduction to Dimash. This remains one of my favorite reactions. I hope life has been treating you well, Caleb! (It's been a very mixed bag on this end.) Onward and upward!

Such a shame you’re missing so many incredibly talented vocalists and performers, only including the mainstream players, what about Mike Patton who’s voice covers so many ranges he’s employed to create monster sounds for the film, I am legend, as well as Oprah, heavy metal, rap, rock and crooner, the man can do it all, absolute legend, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, Jeff Martin front man for the tea party and his incredibly powerful vocals, just to name a few that always miss out on recognition

Alex Newton one should be C6 and beyond is purely head voice and falsetto, you should hear the sightly discont of mixing beyond B5 and the texture of C6 become thin in sudden , There is no one ever can push mixing voice to sixth Oct as far as heard . Isn't it?

Rik Emmet and Steve Perry did it back in the day with no autotune...70s and 80s....Rik sang F# night in and night out and sang in a mix, not falsetto...14th fret on 1st string of a guitar every night with ease. Go listen to him sing Lay it on the Line, Fight the Good Fight, and Magic Power live at the US Festival '83...in 105 degree heat, in front of 400,000 people! Mind blowing...alll while playing virtuoso guitar and running around the stage....a freak of nature!

I do know that u were blessed with a magnificent voice. Both versions were amazing to me. This song takes my breath away & I feel it in my heart & soul. You did a great job. Be very proud of yourself. Both were sung tremendously. Thank u. ❤️

I think passion can be both the gateway to heaven or hell. It depends how you keep it in balance, in all its aspect. You can be passionate in your career, it may be at the cost of having any meaningfull relationship. It can be desire, possessiveness or it can be totally loving someone in what they are intead of trying to put the relationship under a dome. Bottomline, it's the constant battle with our own ego through every aspects of life. Dimash always translates that struggle beautifuly, in every song.

The Origin of the Song: SOS of a Earthling in Distress "SOS of an Earthling in Distress "Iss the light of 1978 as part of the musical" Starmania". Michel Berger, a talented composer, created this song for the character of Johnny Rockfort, performed by Daniel Balavoine. As soon as it was released, the song aroused a great enthusiasm, propelling Balavoine to the top of the French music scene. The protagonist expresses his disarray and his desperate need to find meaning in his life. The lyrics, imbued with sincerity, resonate with an audience of all ages, evoking deep and universal emotions. Daniel Balavoine, a charismatic performer inhabited by his art, gives life to " SOS of an Earthling in Distress "with a rare intensity. For the record, the music for the song "SOS d'un terrien en détresse" was composed by Michel Berger (a very great French composer) especially to exploit the vocal qualities of Daniel Balavoine who, for his part, add soul to it as he did to all his interpretations. This video that you have just watched is truly unique because it is the only time (in 1985) we can see him sang this song live on French TV before his tragic death on January 14, 1986. Because of the great Ethiopian famines, Daniel was committed to Africa through the Paris-Dakar Rally. And it was during the transport of water pumps for the cultivation of rice that he died, along with 4 others, in a helicopter accident while flying over the Malian desert. This man was just great in everything. It takes a ton of courage for someone to sing a new version of this song after Dimash covered it. Kudos to you and your version of it.
