Great video, we love camping, but the only way for us (fam of 3) is with a tent and other obvious camping supplies. Plus roof rack and box. Would that be an idea to demo?

What about duration? Do you have to replace the ppf after few years? Also does it protect from side scratches caused by tree branches? I live in rural area with overgrown trees / plants in the sides of the road.

Just finished 7 weeks camping with model 3 from Portugal to Germany and back, same shades on windows, but comfortable 15cm ikea mattress, fridge, battery with outlet and to power fridge 24/7, and small kitchen set. Sleeping is great with ac, living like that not that much. Electricity on the campgrounds(on those that I’ve been) is so low, 1-2 kw/hour

That’s a very enlightening video. It didn’t look very good compared to Model Y unfortunately. I have a M3 like you and thankfully I’m not much into camping. Just a question, why don’t you show your partner/girlfriend/wife? Her face always being blurred gives the video a very impersonal feel. It might be nice to show her as well; it could help your subscribers connect more and better with both of you.

Teslas are American cars for Americans to drive in America. They do not work the same anywhere else. I own a Model 3 and I live in France and apart from never using Autopilot because it is dangerous and because I can drive better than it can in all conditions, before EVERY drive, I also have to disable lane assist and forward collision. Even then the car will still autosteer and brake if it thinks the car is leaving the road. You never own a Tesla, you beta test it at your own expense and there is no reward for doing so.

Nice video. I looked into PPF for my white RWD Tesla and decided against it. Eventually the edges collect grime which on a white car will really show. A few stone chips can be touched up, polished then sealed, for a fraction of the cost of PPF. But I get that some people love this product and it does work well in protecting from minor chips and scuffs.
@europeinatesla
@europeinatesla 23 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! This is true, with PPF, you need to maintain the car often too to prevent grime and dirt buildup on the edges.

Hi thanks for the video, I just bought M3P, with standard autopilot… I have some questions if u can plz answer! First I have selected one single click to activate the autopilot but yesterday i tried the system with 800km journey but every time when I would like to turn on the AP, I want to press 3 or 4 time? Is normal? Then when I was on AP mode, I pressed the indicator to change the lane! Every time when pressing the indicators to change the lane AP mode deactivated automatically maybe is normal in a standard version? I hope you can reply me… Thanks
@europeinatesla
@europeinatesla 26 күн бұрын
Hi Nanthaa, thank you for watching my videos. When you press the first time does it do "beep-beep" sound? this means it's not possible to activate given the situation (could be because the road lines aren't clear or some other reason). The standard version doesn't change lanes, so when you press indicator, it doesn't do anything and I'm assuming you are pushing the steering wheel, which then deactivates AP.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it in these comments but you really should not be using an extension cable with the 2/3pin plug-in charger, if you use it too long you will end up melting the cable and plug and maybe causing an electrical fire.

I believe the price of $5000 for the Enhanced Autopilot is too high considering its features. On the other hand, $10000 for the full self-driving makes sense, as it's like hiring a driver to drive you around.

Really interested in your thoughts on autopark… I have had my model 3 long range since December and keep hovering over the EAP upgrade button for 3800 euros. You put me off before because of having to use the turn signals and nudge the wheel to instigate lane changes. I got Enhance Auto S3XY buttons in the end and use their continuous autopilot feature which basically gives you EAP for less than 300 euros.
@europeinatesla
@europeinatesla Ай бұрын
Tough one to be honest! €3800 - 10% of the value of the car for essentially 1 feature - given that you already have “EAP”… I think if you want it because it’s cool, then you gotta decide the amount you’re okay with spending 😅 the other thing to consider is if the resell value increases when you add EAP/FSD - that may soften the blow….

Which do you think will depreciate faster in 1 year? 24 M3 LR has new refreshed design, but 24 MY LR has higher global demand. Could you also tell a difference in highway wind noise or just road noise? Test drove a 24 Y and it rode quieter and smoother than I expected given most people online seem to indicate the 3 is so smooth and quiet now. Was pleasantly surprised!

@europeinatesla
@europeinatesla Ай бұрын
Hi Jose! Thank you for watching my videos! Yes you can just have Traffic-Aware Cruise Control (TACC) if you change the autopilot setting to be a double press on the right wheel instead of single press. This way the first press activated TACC and the subsequent one activates Autopilot, also TACC can do up to 160kph. Europe in a Tesla, how is it now after having the car for what about half a year? I'm considering buying one, but im used to the old school turn signal and I was thinking how it is for you now after you are getting more used to it, would you say its possible to get used to it well without looking down on the wheel any longer?
@europeinatesla
@europeinatesla Ай бұрын
Hi! Thank you for your question - I think the car overall is good. It's not my favourite car that I've owned but overall, it ticks most of the boxes. In terms of the turn signal buttons, I've completely gotten used to it - it's super easy to use now - I actually get confused when I go back to a car with stalks (but since this is so ingrained, it's easy for me to use them again) - but yeah, no problems with the turn signal buttons, I know which one to press each time without looking - even when the wheel is upside down.
