Hi, just finding this channel. Love the video. I flew with you on a trip from JFK to Kingston. I love flying but this trip I didn't enjoy at all because I messed up on my CPL checkride the week prior. I eventually focused on Uni and 3 yrs later I went back for the CPL. Time is coming slow. I'm currently at 413tt. Keep up the good work and I will be subscribing.

@@RichardCunningham65 if my memory is correct, I think I met you over the polo club. I was in the JDF then and you were doing flying rc planes. Hopefully my Mooney can can go into annual next week and it's not that the cost isn't that much so I can put more in the tank and push for 500+ hrs this yr. It's rough flying with the NE weather.

1. I never claimed that this was an official training video. It’s is for entertainment purposes only. 2. Whereas I may have missed a couple of things, your comment suggests that nothing I did is consistent with Airbus SOPs, which is a little arrogant in my opinion. 3. Your channel suggests that you are a Boing pilot. Are you also type rated on Airbus? Anyway, thanks for watching.

What I really find surprising is that you tell us the APU is not available. Was it damaged by an action from the previous flightcrew? Is an aircraft even allowed to fly without a functional APU?
@RichardCunningham65
@RichardCunningham65 2 жыл бұрын
Most definitely you’re able to operate without an APU. In normal operations the APU is used for ground operations to supply electrical power and provide air conditioning and starting the engines. All these functions can be provided by ground equipment. Once the engines are started, they provide all of the above and the usually shut down anyway.
