I also have an opinion for the sonic games that no one seems to really present. Sonic games are hard. At least, when you buy a sonic game you want to go as fast as possible but going fast makes you die stupidly if you don't have very good reflexes. Sonic Riders is a good example. I've heard more people say they were bad at the game than the game is bad

I played the CRAP out of this game in the GameCube. I still have the intro song in my cellphone. When I met my friends who also played,I got to play it split screen for the first time, and was hella fun!. If Sega launches a (good) remake/remaster, I would faint, then wake up to see if it's real, and then faint again.

ya know, I never heard any hate for Sonic Riders, and I love that game. Sonic Riders 2: Zero Gravity did get some hate on it for how the jump and trick system was simplified, you lost most of the interacting with the stage you got before, but it was replaced with the coolness that was the gravity system, that was dope (the first one is still way better). and you silly free riders was just a collective fever dream like the rest of the Wii U stuff. tho seeing as how each game came out on the next console (GameCube, Wii, the Wii U fever dream) that does suggest we're do for a Switch game as that's still the main console, so here's hoping (hurray for copium)

Here's why the hoverboard idea was always a good one for Sonic: it allows him to show some of that '90s 'tude he's known for, with track design that works around the vehicles used and makes them truly necessary.

This really should've been the Mario Kart of the Sonic series. There's a Riders story going on in the comics now and people are hoping more comes from it like a new game.

Honestly though, I always thought this was the best sonic game that embraced what the character is about, speed. If the whole series had turned into a riders style game, it could have been more interesting, no longer fighting to be better than mario, but with it's own essence.
