Yep. Watch any of Bruce’s movies or tv shows. There were zero special effects. You tell me those moves aren’t real? 50 years later and still not one man moves like he did. Does this mean 1970 Bruce Lee could beat a 2024 UFC fighter? No, but that’s not how things work. There are different eras and advancements in sports technology, fitness, diet, etc. but Bruce had something undeniably ahead of his time. I still can’t enjoy watching any other hand to hand combat films after his because they all fall short and try to compensate with special effects. It’s garbage.

He won't say exactly who Bruce would beat in sparring due to his respect for them, but note that he said "everybody". Add to that all the names of whom we know trained with Bruce and we have the names.

Although Jim Kelly was a professional fighter and a world champ at that, Bruce Lee was NEVER a professional fighter because he never fought in a ring.

Matthew Polly consulted with medical experts and theorised that the cerebral edema that killed Lee had been caused by over-exertion and heat stroke; heat stroke was not considered at the time because it was then a poorly understood condition. Furthermore, Lee had his underarm sweat glands removed in late 1972, in the apparent belief that underarm sweat was unphotogenic on film. Polly further theorised that this caused Lee's body to overheat while practising in hot temperatures on May 10 and July 20, 1973, resulting in heat stroke that in turn exacerbated the cerebral edema that led to his death. Lee’s super power was he had his underarm sweat glands removed 😂

The host is wrong. Jim Kelly is talking about actually fighting Bruce Lee. None of us know what that is like. He saw the speed, the quickness, the strength, the power of Bruce Lee. Up close and personal.

Both chuck Norris and Jim Kelly didn't have a problem with their characters dying in a Bruce Lee movie. Originally Joe Lewis was supposed to get the part of colt in way of the dragon but he didn't want his character to lose so chuck got the part and the rest was history as chuck became a bigger star than Lewis. I still respect all of them though. Joe Lewis was a very good martial artist as well.

I think these guys are full of crap! This is like Chuck Norris memes. Like when Chuck Norris does push-ups he’s actually pushing the earth down. This is absolute nonsense! And to say that Bruce Lee is no doubt, the greatest martial artist of all time is so ridiculous! UFC has definitely taken martial arts to a level that did not exist 25 years ago. Bruce Lee was an actor, filmmaker producer, writer, and stuntman with a background in Chinese martial arts and 5% body fat. Bruce Lee played part of a martial arts fighter. But he was a professional fighter and that’s a fact.

Bruce Lee, as far as being a legit fighter, is just the same as several other movie heroes; some even have more credentials. His charisma and philosophical side is what sets him apart, imo. Jeet Kune Do, for example, is based upon his philosophy, not his fighting prowess.

Ric Myers is one annoying guy. No, you did not know who Bruce sparred, if you did why didn't you say instead of pressing Jim. He didn't know Bruce so he should just keep his trap shut, he wasn't on Jim's level. RIP Jim & Bruce, legends forever.
