Oftentimes, we meet a guy and we convince ourselves that he is the man of our dreams and that we will never have the connection we have with him with anyone else and I can assure you ladies this is not true ! I was a teenager and I fell deeply in love with a guy who left me because he was a gold digger At that time, I thought I will never meet anyone else who makes me feel like him But guess what? I did and more than one guy ! So ladies, don't limit yourselves with such limiting beliefs There are 8 billion people on this planet, if a guy friendzones you, then there are tons of other guys out there waiting to give you the love you deserve Work on youselves, hire a therapist, a coach or read self development books Love yourself FEROCIOUSLY, if you don't feel good in the friendzone, leave, you will cry for a while but you will not die I promise , it hurts but you will get better Take up a hobby, learn a new skill, make a list of what you have always dreamt of doing and focus on that Life is so damn short, dont let some selfish guy ruin it for you, you derserve the relationship you desire And dont forget, some men are manipulative and try to friendzone girls to make those girls beg them for love THey always look good when you see them, they skip dates with you from time to time, all these are tactics to play you So set boundaries and protect yourselves, your mental and emotional health matter Prioritize your own well being and dont let anyone bring you down

Why do men think this is ok to treat women like this? At least he was being upfront but he could have been upfront before sex ever happened. Could have saved her humiliation. These men suck and damage women.

This was amazeing advice for me.. This has been so helpful to me. Four relationships in general dating in love and when a guy puts me in a friend zone.. It was very hurtful add the same time we are 20 years apart and we work together. .. So I'm trying my best to be friends to other guys that I am attracted to that I am interested in to see where that will go.

I totally agree and understand the 4 stage process. I have a friend that's absolutely toxic and lonely. I been through all those emotions and try over and over to be a friend. He doesn't commit to anyone but happily floats from home to home for residence. Long story short, he's had the funds,the resources, and opportunity to change his situation. Yet , year after year he goes through the same cycle. I stood my ground and still standing to not be a victim of this toxic situation.🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾

this woman doesn't know anything about men and women should not listen to her. You shouldn't listen to a woman about men. I have no earthly idea what she's talking about. The majority of my long-term relationships or entanglements were with avoidant attachment style emotionally unavailable women. It's so interesting how much of this can apply to women if they have an avoidant attachment style. This resonates very well. Reading Amir Levine's book on this taught me so much so that I don't do that to myself again. What you say about not losing the person but losing the dream, that there was this carrot dangled that it could work, where they'd give just enough to make you believe that there is potential when it never was there. I described that relationship as shell beach from the movie Dark City. That moment when you realized that it never had a chance because it was never real to begin with.

I was co-dependent and he was emotionally unavailable, or should I say he was a Narcissist. Narcissists are definitely Unavailable emotional, along with other stuff. It was a very bad mix. I was with him almost 10 years. 10 years of not getting me, lying to me, cheating on me. But boy, I was gonna win him over.I tried and I tried and I tried. I never did win him ovver. He was a lying, cheating, emotionally unavailable man until the day he died. Which in some ways was a blessing for me. Because I just could not walk away from this relationship.I was way too codependent on it. I've always done fine on my own.I work.I have a nice house.I have money.I have friends but I wanted to be with this man so bad that I would put up with anything from him. And when he died from a stroke I hate to say it, but it was the best thing to ever happen to me. I miss him.I love him, but him.Being gone is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am living my best life now. I'm having fun.I'm going out meeting people going out with my girlfriend's life is good. An emotional unavailable man will never change. They might. Pretend to change but deep down they don't change. I wasted ten years of my life hoping and praying that this guy would change. Don't make. The same mistake that I did.

I was trying to help an emotionally unavailable man. Even when to a psychiatrist (for the first time) who told me DON'T be around him! He was sweet, never argued, shouted, nothing like that. I want to just add that to be a narc, one must have 5 or more traits and on a frequent basis. We ALL have 1-3 traits in us so please just because you see a few traits in someone, be careful of labeling them a narc. There are overlapping illnesses that overlap NPD and look alot like it.

Thank you so much!!!! Im 42, single mom, never married. Raising my almost 10 year old son alone. And i dont know if i really want to try to find love for us. I think my son would benefit just by having more love then just mine, and it wouldnt be hard work for him as it would be for me. Relationships are hard work. Do i think it would be easier with a partner? Sometimes when im overwhelmed and maybe it would help and not hurt. Am i willing to get my heart broken? Yes but not my son's. So i guess i dont know but i hope that if God wants me to meet the love of my life then i pray that i meet him someday. Until then its just me and my son and i will do the best that i can.
