Damn you can honestly see why Katherine is so jaded. She had a baby that was taken from her, she fled to a new country and the two men she liked were planning to kill her, and so naturally, like anyone would, she fled. Later on one of these guys killed her entire family and then she spent years running from said guy. It's not an excuse for all the shit she's done but it's certainly a reasonable explanation for why she's so fucked up.

Elijah truly loved Katherine and in this Katherine had feelings for Elijah but circumstances like Klaus happened....and they both lost each other until they met again...really till then Katherine didn't bother with Elijah anymore considering he did betray her instead of saving her in which his hands were obviously tied...Katherine reminded Elijah of the part he was human....and of course Tatia...Also Klaus did care for Tatia but that ended and didn't see Tatia in Katherine....he saw her only a means to a end...he was cruel...i hated the ending Katherine was given...she deserved better...

I’m not saying I completely agree with her actions after she became a vampire and played with Stefan and Damon the way she did and trying to hand over Elena to save her ass…but her actions are at least explained. I truly feel bad for Katherine, she didn’t ask for any of that to happen to her. Despite everything she did, I feel like she deserved better

I feel like Katherine when she first heard that klaus was going to kill her,her survival instinct kicked in where just go go go leave them just leave and get out of here but they never stoped and that voice in her head that told her to run and get out leave everybody else just never stopped kept on going

As a Brit, I must say that Nina did a simply FANTASTIC job at doing the accent! Most Americans don't even come close, but she sounded really genuine with a sophisticated, medieval touch to it. Stunning

Nina's voice is so beautiful when she speaks with a British accent. :) I think BE makes any line sound a bit more aristocratic and fancy. I'm glad TVD included Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah with their fancy accents.

I think people don't understand katherine. Elena went through the same thing with the sacrifice but she had Stefan and Damon by her side to help her with everything unlike Katherine who was alone and had no one to guide her. A tramatic event like that can turn your whole life around. On top of that she also had to give up her baby. Her life was not fair otherwise i believe she would have been a much better, wiser and stronger woman than Elena.
