Just like I love Damon and Klaus but lets be real they have done horrible things. I get your point Katherine went through a lot of crap, things might have been different but wat is done is done.

@@Allo.nvm02 okay. But elena is a murderer as well. And stefan... well honestly I believe he has killed more people than katherine. And katherine had proper reasons, she killed to survive or to get her freedom back (okay maybe to eat as well. But not that many people) and damon/klaus killed for revenge, fun and stuff like that. Elena is a murderer and hypocritical about that and stefan ate so many people. I mean yes his emotions were off but that's not an excuse since it's clear if you turn off your emotions you can do horrible things and this switch is your responsibility so I blame stefan for every murder he's done as well. What I want to say with that is tvd protagonists are all murderers, some are hypocritical like elena (unfortunately damon becomes hypocritical since he's with elena... idk why but I hate that I prefer honest damon who is honest about his guilt) and some are all honest like katherine. A humanity switch is no excuse either. But katherine is the only one with proper reasons. And I think they are all good people cause as we can see vampires are murderers, I think it's just in their nature to think murder is not a big deal. But for me what's inside still matters. And every person who has lived katherines life would become like that (humans just aren't that strong). And that's why my opinion is you are who you are on the inside and that never changes and what you show to the outside changes. But that's only your appearance not who you are. So katherine is in my opinion one of the most good-heartet people on the show (actually the most) because they do worse things and she is way more traumatized. But of course if only actions matter to you (which is the appearance fpr me) then she is evil in your opinion, but then almost every character is if you look objectively. (Btw sorry for my language and long comment)

Yes, I like it too. I mean, when you show England of Middle Ages, it's absolutely right to speak with a British accent, not with an American one that wasn't yet invented at that time. I like how they in TVD stick to these details. It makes those flashbacks look true.

@@motherofdragon539 I know this comment is super old, but if you wanna get real technical, having an English accent as it sounds today in a show set during back then would be very historically inaccurate as well, considering this accent didn't exist back then either.

But I mean, you can't pitch-perfect accent that actually existed in England 600 years ago, just because we didn't live then and even despite all books, historical and lexicological documents, we don't have the video or audio files of how people indeed used to talk back then, so the movie makers can only guess. However, the only right solution in such situation would be choosing classical British accent.

She is Bulgarian. I think she was born in Bulgaria and was raised in Canada. However, she still had to change her accent in this scene.

Definitely. And they didn't show a lot of their backstory maybe he was always killing people in her life as he was chasing her over 500 years maybe she was normal for a few hundred years but then got fed up of getting attached to people as Klaus would always kill them. They showed the beginning of their story and their story in the current time line but a lot could've gone on between that we were never shown.

@@alexandran6009 I didn't think of it that way. That's true. Klaus could have possibly killed people that he found out were attached to katherine, either at his own hands or at the hands of other vampires who were afraid of the originals and would do their bidding. At the very least we know that katherine was on the run and moving around constantly to escape Klaus so getting attached to people wasn't practical, plus she would've had trust issues because she cared for Elijah and Klaus and considered a future with them before finding out they were vampires who wanted to sacrifice her. That and her own family disowned her.

Yes like she had her baby taken from her she couldn’t even hold him then she gets expelled from Bulgaria , finds happiness , Klaus wants to kill her for a sacrifice , she kills herself , runs for 500 years , meets Stefan And Damon , the town figures that she’s a vampire and has to run without the love of her life ( Stefan) then finds him with her doppelgänger, Still loves him he tries to kill her 200 times 😂😭 , She’s tortured by Klaus, Escapes Klaus, Finds her daughter as a human ( traveler ) then she’s aging really fast and then she sees her daughter dies and dies and becomes the queen of hell she’s the queen and best female character in the whole entire tvdu Rip Katerina Petrova hope she found peace

Katherine was not alone Elijah tried to help her to survive the ritual but Katherine turned on him.

@@matthewmann8969 she didn't turn on anyone, elijah was literally handing her over to be murdered in a sacrifice, plus she had no idea he even had the idea of saving her, it would have been stupid of her to wait around and be 'saved' when they were all after her for the sacrifice since the beginning, plus elijah wasn't even sure the potion would have worked anyway, no guarantee he would have been able to save her. Katherine was 100% the victim in this.

Elijah had a plan to save her but before he could do it Katherine took matters into her own hands and became a vampire. She betrayed Elijah by not trusting him and not giving any regard whatsoever for the love he had for her

No it’ll never make sense to me how they both were so mad at her when THEY were the ones to play her. He knew his intentions with her the whole time. Doesn’t matter if he had a change of heart. Yet both brothers (Elijah & Klaus) are delusional enough to be mad at her. It triggers me bc I’ve dealt with ppl like this in real life and it’s a pet peeve 😂

I wish they explored more of Katherine and Elijah they gave us this backstory that could've led to an amazing love story, but then bc of the originals spin off it was as if kalijah was never a thing. Writers have the tendency to leave things unfinished or illogical when they start a new spin off. Same thing with the originals and legacies.
