But can you use paint once or is there multiple uses on the palette?

Didn’t know where to leave this question. I need a few new rounds that hold water and a point. I love King Art brushes. Do they have nice rounds if so, which ones?

I like their Radiant, Original Gold, and Finesse series. They Finesse series hold the most water of the three. The brush types that have a pronounced point are called ultra rounds, max rounds, or floral petal round. Hope this helps, should I do a video on the KingArt Brushes?

@@watercolorpour I think you should do a video. They are so easy to paint with and hold up better than Escoda Perla and more pricy brushes. I have their flat too and love them more than Princeton. Just saying…

@watercolorpour is this liquid watercolor? Because you show your pan palette so I was a bit confused how you got so much paint. Amazing work I love it
@watercolorpour
@watercolorpour 8 күн бұрын
no, I add a drop or two of water to the watercolor pans to rewet them and add a tablespoon of water to each ramekin, then I mix up colors to use like a liquid watercolor

Pthalo turq and Aussie red gold gives so many gorgeous mixes. Thank you for all the good info! Also if you rub some glue stick on your plastic mixing palette it will stop that beading up. If it bothers you :)

I absolutely love the colors you chose for this palette. I only have a few of these colors, but I am inspired to pick up a few of the others you have. They are such different colors and I don't typically see people using most of these colors on their palettes. This is a very original (and BEAUTIFUL) palette setup! I would love to see the mixing power of this palette one day!

This box is really cool! Thanks for showing it to us. I would love to have one of these...but, Unfortunately, the paint tray is not for me. I use single half pans so I can pull colors out/put colors in to different palettes. I like to switch my main studio palette up often, and I have multiple smaller "limited color" palettes that I switch up very very very often. I like to keep things new & fresh and I like to push myself and use/rotate all the colors I have so I don't stay stuck using the same colors all the time. If I didn't switch up, there a few colors that I would only use because they are my "preferred colors". I also do not like to make duplicate pans of the same color, and having single, movable pans allows me to switch a color from palette to palette to avoid making duplicates. Also, the multiple mixing trays make the palette bigger than I prefer it to be.

The Roberson palette comes in many configurations and layouts, for instance the inside tray is removable so you could request a build without it to be able to use the pans you mentioned and it can be ordered without the oval flaps, can even add a thumb ring or thumb hole. John also makes other style brass palettes, they are just beautiful.
