I recently started selling freeze cups at work just to help the guys with the 110 degree days. I sell about 50, 9 oz cups per day @$1 a cup. No ice needed, nothing to make on the spot. Cost me .19 a cup to make. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was charged $4.50 for a "small" size shaved ice from a food truck set up... looked like a 4 oz, but could have been 6 ounce cup. It was not piled high and it was narrow in the cup around the sides. The size of a kids gelato. Was I ripped off? I know its 2024 and inflation, but yikes

I get it that you already have a business n probably have insurance in place for that but did you have to add anything to existing insurance? Buy a different policy? I can't imagine what can go wrong with a shaved ice setup but I'm sure someone somewhere has made it so insurance is needed. Do you even have insurance? This is a cost I can't estimate. What's your experience?
