I don’t know what wrong considering that the much earlier Thomas busy books are excellently proportioned and had pretty good detail, but the faces were only half way there. They’re made of vinyl btw, same as a lot of other hard rubber toys.

The 3D faces don't really work for AEG stylings, and these amplify that. I don't mind having the Busy Book engines but man oh man do I wish they were all to a relative scale. Nia and Carly are SOOO Tiny!! Diesel is perf tho

This Engine faces looks awful. Even minis are better quality than this. Actually Extremetrainz are going to do a review of new minis advent calendar?

I’m glad I bought 2 of the crate trucks before the recall. I doubt any adult collectors would have sent back their recalled trucks because they wouldn’t purposely dislodge the loose coupling component

I haven't seen the big waves of minis in the US since 2021. Hopefully they do something more next year for the 10th anniversary of minis coming out?

I'm still into MINIS! It's nice we got updated MINIS of Emily Henry and Gordon. The neon Percy looks like he's wereing a plad shirt. The flame MINIS are cool. I think I should pick these MINIS up if I can find them in stores. But I do wonder if these will be the last MINIS because they are making the new AEG Push Along Minis what do you think?. Last time i checked in the UK with ASDA, the 2021-2022 boxes were still around, but all the Chrome ones had already been taken away. I'll let you stick with what you like, the minis have lost their spark and appeal in the 2020s, as they've removed the multi packs and made them way more difficult to collect, meaning that the brand will only focus on two seperate ranges.

Lots of these new minis are great but I miss the designs from a few years ago.

It’s sad to see Mattel not pay attention to this range much. It’s such a great merchandise line and one of my favourites. They could have easily made better decisions and pushed this range further with more classic characters and themes. Glad you found the new wave, it’s everywhere in Big W stores near me.

We haven’t had thomas minis since 2019 in the uk We used to have them in Poundland for £1 and I have never seen them since 2019 so I have thousands of them but no new ones like the classic models with the updates . It’s annoying because I would still buy them but the uk just won’t let me …

Henry never received the rivet detailing in the CGI. Neither did Edward if you wonder he did as well. It’s fascinating how Henry got that treatment in wooden railway 2022, Now in minis. I guess it would depict how he would look in the cgi to be more realistic or appealing for us.

From there we would have one more small engine to fit your layout and some people would now be able to make an n scale farquar quarry set with her And heck even bill and ben could be made re using the Percy chassis and wheels just with a new body and seperatly fitted nameplates to keep the same mould then there own promotional video and boom There is 3 models Bachman could have made in there n scale line but refuse to for some reason They all appear in cgi , all re use existing chassis designs , fit in the loading gauge & wouldn’t be hard to produce And we need ourselfs a milk tanker sooner or later to add to this all 3 engines and 1 tanker is all I am asking for from Bachman I am a kid (under18( and I thought of this myself from re using parts and saving money . Nice review … tho we never saw the comparison between tomix Annie and clarabel and Toby . Tho we did see Bachman Annie and clarabel and the troublesome truck in the running session so that’s why I am content with them

Well the simple thing for me is … I have the tomix thomas and his coaches and I don’t plan to chainge that Scaling for me is not an issue if it fits and couples up than that’s fine by me .. So I would most likely buy bachmans Annie and clarabel just to remove the names and turn them into branchline coaches … I ain’t fussed about the scale . It’s why when Gordon comes out I will put him next to tomix Thomas . Ok bye 👋🏽

My OG comment was wiped away, anyway I'll try again. This is very unusual and good. The one trick pony transforms into a awesome Thomas collectable. In the strangest way this reminds me of the old and classic Merritt Thomas toys from a bygone era, especially in scale. The last of the Push Along Metal Engine was wacky, when Mattle was whacking bigger wheels on everything and that was going on with the Monster Trucks as well.

Considering that there isn't much to review, does that mean you have more time to make the n gauge series? If not, then that's fine, but I am intrigued about how your going to connect the Bachmann and Tomix story lines!

Push along Bruno, salty, Toby, and Edward only recently arrived in NZ stores. I can't believe how good the Toby model is. Also I remember seeing this set years ago and skipped it thinking "it's just trying to be Take Alone/Take-N-play". Great review but I hate how the combined Annie and Clarabel

I was trying to figure out what this set reminds me of because the concept of a big Thomas storing engines/rolling stock, tracks, and accessories sounds very familiar. Recently, I found out it was reminding me of the TOMY Giant Thomas from many years ago. At first I didn't like how this looks and thought it'll be finicky to store the contents in because of how specific their placements have to be, but after watching this video, I think my view on it has changed a little. I still think it's strange (not that I think it's a bad thing), but the play value is actually pretty nice. I like the concept of a big engine being both a storage box and a playable toy.
