Idk if you are going to see this but i just went back era on my lock not that long ago and i also wanted to lvl something else , and i wanted something diff so i went with prot palli , i honestly did not know a prot palli could tank all phase 1 and phase 2 raids pretty much, and hell now i have seen some in aq and naxx. Did you tank aq 40?

Hey @Holyfrog, big fan of the videos. I think they are great. I recently started playing WoW Classic (vanilla) again & I'm maining Dwarf Prot Paladin. One question I had is being a Dwarf, where/how do you prioritize or balance getting hit chance capped (9%) while taking into consideration the many other stats needed as a Prot Paladin? Whenever I try using seal of wisdom I really struggle with keeping threat. I'm lv46 atm and I feel like around uldaman is when I started noticing dps really pulling threat from me. Before that I felt like superman.

You do have a taunt its called 'Hand of Reckoning' it even deals a little damage to a target that is not attacking you. Its also the longest range spell the pally has.

i got ''bettercharachterstats'' addon, so that addon shows to me that i have 317 defense and you are saying that 30 to 40 and for spire and dire maul runs u say that 60-70 defense. That's confusing. How can my defense stat be 30 or 60? Would you pls explain about it?

Defense from gear, not total defense. You always have 300 from being level 60.

what profession are you using as a prot pally in Classic wow? and are you do plan on keeping them in TBC or changing them come TBC?

Hey. I was enchanting and engineering for classic. Engineering is kinda Mandatory for Prot in PvE since we're constantly at a disadvantage and need to push the limit of what we can do. Sappers/Dynamites offers burst threat, Engineering Shield is fantastic as well as other benefits. For TBC Im not sure. Looks like I'll be playing Ret right now but for Prot the spellpower enchant on rings is really good, and engineering is still quite beneficial with super sappers etc. But it's not as much of a must have profession as in Classic so if you play more casuall you can pretty much do any profession you like and still do well.

You can do Strat UD with Righteous set from dungeons (The pre Kara paladin set), Figurine of Colossus and Petrified Lichen Guard, Skullflame Shield or Argent Defender (with thorium spike). You will have to do one half at a time though. If you want to do full pull in one go, you need Tier 5, Figurine of Colossus and a trinket like Tome of Fiery Redemption to pump out dps. Can prob use one of the three shields mentioned earlier.

How much gold pr/h is this if you just vendor it All ? Since i can imagine 99% of all players Will make a paladin alt in tbc classic and do this so the things that Sells on ah from here Will for sure be super low price. Also i could imagine endless of bots will farm this.

I have to admit, i leveled as protpala, imagined my self doing pug raids as protpaladin’ but seeing I Will more or less only be spamming GBOK, has completely turned me off!
