I miss the Berkshire mall when it was open because I live nearby, like at least 25 minutes away, because I live near Vermont and I miss the play place it had etc

Interesting. I closed that Spencer's before the mall closed entirely and that company left tons behind. Even the sound system in the ceiling and the metal slats on the wall. Someone, whether it was the owner of the property or random people have seemingly stripped the stores since then.

Store at 9:00 was EB Games (Electronics Boutique). My second favorite place to go after Aladdin's Castle, the arcade, which I think is in the corner by the door at 17:40.

I’m honestly surprised you didn’t actually bump into any squatters. I used to love going there so much! It’s crazy how much still is still actually there.

Holy crap... I thought the entire interior would be stripped naked, but so many things are still, untouched from the last time I got to visit several years ago. So surreal. How old was this footage by the time you uploaded it?

It's so wild how much things change. I worked my first few jobs here, my Mom worked at the JC Penney when she was pregnant with me. As a kindergartener my favorite restaurant was the Ground Round. Favorite memories are when my friends and I would be set loose on Friday nights at the mall - the most freedom we had as middle schoolers. Lots of memories of movies, great coworkers, and back-to-school shopping.

What a beautiful place! Sad to see in such disrepair. You successfully pulled it off. Thanks for taking the risk.

Seeing the TIW sign still there hurts so bad man. Those are my buddies. It was such a kick in the nuts to lose that spot. This whole video just hurts. I grew up right at the other end of the mall road. My first job was here. So many first life experiences.

There was a portion you could walk around before covid hit, or maybe it was closed off sooner. I drew on a wall with a pencil when I was in high school and I kinda wonder if it's still there. Probably. Place was cool to go as a kid from that area, pretty much as eventful as it really got lol

Great video! I’ve been there twice, first time the alarm wasn’t on second time it was. They plan on demolishing it within the next month or so and cops have been a lot more active there and are arresting people

Loved getting to see this, hate how idiots have to destroy everything. Im old 😂 so i remember when it opened. It originally had four anchors, JCPenney, Sears, Sage-Allen and Steinbach's. Sage-Allen and Steinbach's closed, and the Bon-Ton moved into Sage-Allen (Women's, Kids, Jewelry and Beauty) and half of Steinbach's (Men's and Home). The other half became Circuit City. I worked in the home department for several years, loved the mall at Christmas. Sad to see it decline.

What is sad is the building is still in good condition they could make affordable housing or office complexes out of the stores with affordable rent instead let it rot and demolish it and add more this to the land fills
