I have a 36 ft. C&C swing keel currently in the Columbia river near Portland Oregon and have been wanting to sail the Caribbean, yet don't want to transport or sail this boat to get there. Wish there was a place to trade boats of equal value coast to coast.

Why can’t you just use tasks automotive motors? They are several times the go and proven. Why not buy Tesla automotive battery banks? Size generator appropriately. Freight trains use electric motors and diesel generators too. Some variance of those systems would give superior performance…

BRUSHES!!! you did not say BRUSHES!!! are these motors brushless?? before you NON-ELECTRICIANS jump in!! electric motors do come with in most cases 2 brushes, easy to change.

Hi guys I have been following you from season 3 and watching most of your videos and trying to catch up to date and I've finally made it. I'm thoroughly enjoying everything I have watched including Davy working through the seemingly never ending list of things that go wrong, but I'm sure you were not too surprised with some of them given you had bought a Hurricane damaged boat and I think the boat looks fantastic now with the canopy over the cockpit, I didn't realize originally that there was supposed to be a section over the helm station but I have never seen that type of catamaran in NZ waters waters, I think the use of the larger stainless steel tubing was a good choice with you having to deal with the Hurricane season over there. I am retired now but having been a fitter by trade I have worked on peoples boats over years here and have sometimes excepted payment in kind by helping to sail their boats with them. As much as I would like to I'm not in a situation to become a patron but I will endeavor to buy you a coffee now and then. Wishing you all the best for the future and safe passage and I will certainly be following from here in NZ 👍👍🇳🇿

As @FlyMeAirplane said Black cable ties are best for outside white ones as you have found get brittle super fast in the sun and the black ties last at least twice as long. Just use white ones inside away from UV
