Question was the bit not carving at one point cause of the wood being uneven. If so, how do you fix that. Im new and im having alot of trouble with that problem. My z is off cause of warp board. Getting no carving or carving to deep in sone areas

What kind of wood are you using. I'm brand new to cnc. Every piece of wood I use is warp and either the bit doesn't reach or goes to deep. Can't figure out a solution!!

Knowing what the dimensions are for the union from the software what is the best way to assure that when you mask off the area to spray that it will align with the cnc measurements? Thanks

have you ever lost detail while converting? I bought a file off etsy and it showed a lot of detail but after carving the detail was not there. Used a very small tapered bit so that was not the issue.

This was great, I've got a shopsabre 23 coming in and this has been helpful to get a little idea of what's going to need to happen to make the machine work. For the tool change are you using a ATC or is it manual, and if it's manual how would you setup a manual tool change for that transition from the rough cut to the ball end? I now you gotta edit the Gcode but maybe the Vcarve software has something in there to set up that way.

I loved your project I live in Florida now and grew up in Chicago I was a Chicago policeman love the Bears didn’t like the Cubs that much I grew up by Wrigley Field when I was young I would love to get that text files to create the flag

What were the different bits used for this project? looked like you used a v bit for the Eagle Globe and Anchor, switched to a different v bit for the stars, then other bits for words and stripes?
