Custom 3-D rustic American eagle flag made on a CNC router using Vcarve desktop to design it and Shapeoko 3 XXL to cut it.

Looks great! Are you using a router or a VFD spindle? Trying to decide if I need to spend the extra $$ on the VFD.

@@Sizzle99 how do you do extended flags on your shapeoko? And what router are you using?

@@Charlie-qd3qs Hey Charlie, it depends on the software you are using to create the flag or design. If your software allows you to do tiling you can create tiles within your project and move the work piece accordingly. Best is to search youtube for tiling cnc... Hope this helps, btw I just started doing tiling myself with VCarve Pro... a little pricey but worth it.

Thanks for sharing and including your error. It's nice to see that we all have the unexpected happen and you made a very nice recovery! Just wondering did you face glue two pieces of select pine together for this flag? Do you still have this file available because the link says its not. Just wondering! Thanks again!

I assume you used a 60 degree V-bit on the stars? Also how deep are the stripes? Feed and speed somewhere in the middle?

.075 for stripes 19,500rpm 90 ipm feed rate and 40 ipm plunge
