@@scottydoesntnoit blew my mind the first time I tried it 🤯 and it’s not that Sony’s AWB is bad. There are just times when you would want to set it manually (like shooting video) and this little trick can help get you set.

I don’t like 100% talking head videos either, but you can’t say “you should”. It’s his KZfaq channel. He can do whatever he wants. If me or you don’t like it, we just move on lol they don’t owe us anything. This is free content bubba, you ain’t paying for it.

@@ZacSopakThanks , it’s so unfortunate .I bought version 1 about a year ago and didn’t think this was coming . If auto focus is the major thing I don’t think it’s worth selling and loosing money to buy the newer version.

Both to be great options. Obviously the biggest difference is going to be the way that the bodies are built and the sensor sizes. I think if you were doing more content creation specific work then I would say the ZV-E1, but if you’re doing more client type work, that is specifically focused around video then the FX 30 gives you a bit more versatility

I wouldn’t say one camera is better than the other, they are just different. The ZV-E1 to me is made with more of a content creator in mind. The FX30 is focused a bit more on pro video. Both cameras will produce incredible looking video, but the main differences are going to be the sensor sizes and the build of the camera body. For example, if I was going to be doing more professional video work then I would probably lean more toward the FX30 because the camera body is designed to be ripped out and it has a built-in fan. The ZV-E1 can shoot just as good video quality, but with a full frame sensor and a smaller body style that’s focused on vloggers.

@@WES-pt2ho both are great options for different reasons. The A7Cii is more of a hybrid option with the higher megapixel count and video features. To me the ZV-E1 is more video focused and gives you more options like 60 and 120fps in 4k without a crop. So choosing which one to get really comes down to what you think you’d mostly be using the camera for.

@@PTSOPHOTO it’s obviously a little bit wider than the Tamron. The build quality on the sigma totally blows it out of the water. I think those will be your biggest differences

It depends on your workflow and what makes the most sense to you. Some people hate log because it’s too much work to get it looking good and other love it.

@@ZacSopak no, a Samsung s21plus. i was able to figure it out. instead of a finger on the image. i press along side the finger thats on the slider.

I’ve found on my ZV-E1 that with USB-C you can get a long run time, but eventually it will drain all the way. And if you record to your card while streaming it will overheat before the battery will die. I imagine it’s the same with the ZV-E10 II since they’re basically the same camera outside of the sensor size.

Sony rep told me that new 2024 ZV-E10 Mk II is fully PD compliant and can be powered over USB-C without draining battery as long as you use an adapter that has enough power. I don’t have real world experience with this though.

@@EditingWithPopPop yes, any saved LR photo preset would basically do what a LUT does for video. However, most presets are made with the intention of being used on RAW photos that have a greater color depth than videos typically do so keep that in mind when you’re editing.
