Although it is possible that the same Sonic Legacy team requests a crossover cancellation letter from both Mario Mix and D-Side teams because the community should not continue making that type of old content from an already cancelled mod and that the mod revives with another name.

I’m pretty sure most of those collabs with other mods were given permission, but also d-side and Mario mix are old mods too and pretty sure the d-side stuff was done while it wasn’t cancelled. Either way they have their own versions of Sonic.EXE so they can do whatever they like with their own characters.
