I hope someone didn't ask this in the previous 50 comments (no way to search when there are so many comments?) I removed a drive in (press in) grease fitting. Concerned that the hole is now larger than the original from pulling it out. Should I replace with another press-in or drive-in fitting? Seems to me that they would make self-threading fittings that would cut into the existing press in hole for a better install. I could only find 1/4-28 thread cutting zerk (grease) fittings. These are too small and don't bite into the hole for a press in. Have you ever heard of 5/16 "thread cutting" fittings? I can't seem to find any. Please let me know if I should just use 5/16 drive in fitting to replace. Thank you!

It is okay to use Stabil stabilizer for daily fuel refills for the X380? Also, should I use the Stabil Storage or the 360 one?

I just installed the step today. I had my share of problems getting the holes to line up like the people commenting below, as in I could not get them to budge. Thinking about the problem, it seemed to me the problem is that you are fighting the weight of the deck pulling on the frame. I have a Z330R, brand new so I might not be doing it right, but I was unable to get the deck lowered all the way to the ground...close but not all the way. So I used 2 - 15" cabinet lifting jacks that I have to lift the deck to take the pressure off the frame. With the deck raised, I was able to slide the frame almost effortlessly to get the holes lined up. I hope this helps.

So…it appeared you measured the rake using the side blade by rotating the blade another 90 degrees so the tip is pointing toward the front of the deck. Is that correct?

I just subscribed to your channel. Yesterday I bought a 2024 JD Z320R from my local Dealer. I plan to mow today with it! Thanks for the video on the mulching kit. I think I will call my dealer and pick one up. So my understanding is that the kit comes with the mulching blades. You didn’t discuss this in your video so maybe I am wrong. Should I also install the mulching blades? Again thank you so much for your videos! You do a great job. My JD salesman said he also followed you! I mentioned you to him. Thanks!

This is not intuitive on the S140 48inch mulch deck... there are no match holes as you demonstrated on the 42inch deck. Very confusing.

I have to check my 350, it seems to mow nice but alot of adjustment threads stick down, and that's where the problem with belt rub starts. From what I've read on alot of these tractors.

Thank you for the video. Great info. One thing I would suggest personally, is not to use those cheap plastic fuel shut off valves. It will fail within one or 2 seasons. If you look closely at it, there is a no-gasoline stamp on it. They can leak quite easily. Scag makes a good metal one with a ball joint shut off. Only about 8 bucks on Amazon. Just as easy to install, much better quality.
