It’s obvious watching you ride that your back a basic understanding of hydrodynamics. When in the rut, stay in the rut, anything else leads to just exactly what happened to you there. Rut acts like opposite train rails in that they secure the wheels nicely tucked. Attempting to “climb out” as you did was akin to putting stock on the track, breaking that groove and track attempt.

The way I see it, when we become as old and grey as that guy complaining, maybe we will understand him better when he's been long gone. When the old man was younger maybe he did not care or understand the older people at the time when he was younger until he got older. But until that time comes, then how can we truly understand or care? The moral of the story is, get over it. But that's the hardest part for some. Then the cycle repeats.

Yes dat was ik zeker, heb ondertussen een andere motor, Tuareg 660. Maar ik zou de Guzzi zo weer kopen, heerlijk ding. Kan eigenlijk alles, net een Zwitser zakmes.

@@krasky offroad way better, stabel, lighter, more power, easyer in the throttle ect ect. Didn't had the chance to use it for a trip/travel. But I think it will do just fine.

4:50 It was very nice and respectful of you to be kind to the horses, but then stupid to want to switch back to the wide path through a narrow section with a sharp steering movement as quickly as possible. You should have waited for a wider spot so that you didn't have to turn so much. But we all make mistakes and learn from them.

Is it difficult to manage a dry clutch offroad? I imagine you can't rely on feathering it all the time, but I've never ridden one so I don't know.

Dry offroad? The V85TT standard Michelin Anakee Adventure will do just fine. Or the Dunlop Trailmax mission. But wet offroad is a whole other story. In my opinion: go mainstream OEM adventure tires, or go full out knobby's

Ervaring leert dat: boven het stuur de autofocus van de telefoon kapot trilt. Maar dat kan ook komen door dat mijn ervaringen op een Moto Guzzi V85TT zijn 😂🤓

@dustyroadsnl I also like how it looks. And I watched almost every video of this bike. Basically, everybody loves it, of course, it has some "flaws" but I think it's perfect. Especially when you compare the price with for example new GS 900, Africa, etc. And I am not planning to do some hard-core enduro stuff, but I want it to be capable, and this bike has all of that. Long range, comfort, off-road capability and decent speed.

The point is that they need peace and quiet to follow their passion which youve ruined, BUT you could ride somewhere else and still follow your passion. You have a choice and could choose not to spoil their day but the bird watchers dont have a choice. You were in the wrong.

Most of my rides I try to avoid things and places like this. Avoiding weekend rides, sunnydays, going out i the rain, cold, ect. But there is no way I can keep everyones wishes in consideration. We have to share the limited space we have here in the Netherlands, and to be honest I'm a bit done with people like this thinking they alone have the right to certain places.

They could look for birds on many trails that are not motorcycle approved trails. That is the point, so just because your a so called bird watcher doesn't mean you are entitled to ruin motorycle riders experience either.

@@dustyroadsnl Yes, it's a tough balance. I don't undertand dutch so I can't tell if he was nice or rude. For me I would be fine with going back if it were more people looking for birds or listening on their songs a long the way. Even as a Moto Guzzi lover and MC lover generally I think the most natural thing here is not having a 80hp twin engine going though tons of bird passionate people haha

Ik ben ook niet uitermate trots op het vallen, maar ik ben wel aan het rijden en aan het leren. Niks mis mee toch? Overigens ligt het meer aan mijn niet correcte houding dan aan de snelheid.
