You certainly made the case for me! I was deciding whether to purchase this particular model of JazzMaster, so thanks for helping me decide to WAIT until I see some evidence of better QC! American Fenders are not at the level they used to be. I’m finding better examples from the current MIM models. It’s been going down since the mid 2000s.

Man I been having such a problem with my jagstang. Whoever tried to set up the guitar when it was in the shop just raised the bridge to the fullest and so now I can play the guitar from the 1st to 7th fret but the rest is out of tune and what should be the note ringing out is on the 11th or 10th fret so intonation is off, tips?

I have a Classic Vibe sixties Stratocaster. Are the neck and fretboard essentially the same as the CV Jazzmaster? Nice video btw. Doug

Has anyone ever wondered about that? Of course it doesn't matter. Same as the color of the guitar doesn't matter. The pickguard isn't part of the electric circuit, nor is it even in contact with the strings and it's not a structural part of the guitar. Same as the potentiometer covers don't change the tone.

Nonsense. Never use steel wool on any neck still attached to an electric guitar with pickups in it. There are countless other things to use that won't destroy your irreplaceable pickups. 🤦🤦🤦 I thought you were smarter than that. 🤷🤦

I've held on to my stock pickups on my Costello JM since 2009 and my stock pu's on my AV Jag I've had since 2014...but... I think it might finally time to upgrade. I bought a Nash JM-63 with Lollars and man, its hard to not love that - after trying out my guitar teacher's Creston w/ Lollars, wow, that is a great guitar! I've been a Novak fan as well, two Tele's with Novak bridge pickups - all my band mates love that tone! Novak was the OG guy on Offset guitars back in the 2000's so that's the way I will go for both my EC JM and my beloved black Jag.

Free idea. Snap on auto harp-ish style finger keys for each string. Not attached to the strings, attached to the trem scews. You can set it for each string, half step whole step etc… just push the key until it stops. Boom. Made in china 49 bucks each! Temu that shtuffs! 😂
