The grey security connector on the top of the fuel filter/regulator assembly was the hardest part for me. And that grey connector got damaged, and now it won't hold the hose in. I'm looking to buy a new connector now from bmw, and unfortunately that will take a few days.

I have a p-Trap on my HVAC / Furnace Coil Exchanger with an unglued cap on the vent before the p-Trap. Can I just drop tablets down the p-Trap rather than having to remove the cover and place them in the pan inside the exchanger?

The adapter was included in the paddle kit from Nelson Racing.

You need a P trap in the condensation drain line. Otherwise, you get negative pressure and instead of water draining out, you habe air being sucked in. Put in a p trap and prime it. If you have any questions, search for ac drain pipe p-trap on youtube

P trap is on the outside in his case.

Thank you for the comment. As stated, the original were non-funtioning, as were the replacements. I did not want to go digging for the connector, if one existed.

For those struggling with the little blue lock on the electrical connector. It pulls up and then down the back side there's this little depresser that looks like a miniature hair trimmer that you press down on and pull. Arguably the most difficult part of replacing the purge valve and this dude skips over that fact completely.

I watched countless videos about an oil change for this car, some by companies whose business is the automotive industry, and your video was far more detailed, more useful information and minor details , great change very clean . I was so impressed that I liked and subscribed. All the way from Ireland with my Volvo v50 2.0D 2006 😁, you're a good man @dom iy

One important thing that all of these videos does not say. Once the blue clip is removed, the hose does not, "pull right out". There is then a white clip inside of the black end. On one side of the black end the white plastic is exposed as a button. It must be pushed in while pulling out on the hose.

Plumbing and HVAC installers and technicians have some of the worst reputations... justifiably so. They are some of the sloppiest installers and often will do the absolute bare minimum to get the job done so they can go home with your money. Be informed as to what will be done before having these folks in your home doing work.

If you use the pan tabs as mentioned in this video you will never have a line blockage. Do *NOT* use bleach or chlorine... ever! These chemicals are highly corrosive and will cause your evaporator coils to corrode. If your HVAC or condensate pump is flooding or the overflow sensors have tripped, unclog using the methods he's outlined and use the pan tabs.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Most other videos just skipped or glossed over some of the challenging steps. The brass pins were impossible for me to pull out. Tip for anyone in a similar situation: (1) Use a Dremel tool to create a small hole on the opposite side of the pin opening. (2) Insert a small nail punch into the hole to knock the pin through.

For those of you who are having trouble getting the left hose off, here's the problem. The blue retaining clip is just one part. Take that off completely. Then, underneath there is also a white retaining clip that you sort-of have to spread apart too. The electrical connector is a pain too. You just have to press down hard and pull it out.

There should be a more effective way to put these tablets in the A/C Unit, and keep clean. This has to be removed every Two (2) Months? A Nightmare in the making! There should be a Unit that opens, you just drop these tablets in your A/C Unit, and good-bye! Like you stated: We can do wonders without that extra cost! Thank You!😅
